Why doesn't tanki ban IP adresses?

Just out of curiosity why doesn't tanki online ban any IP adresses when they know they are a scammer or know that a person is a hacker? It would pretty much help end hacking here!

Because, who knows there are 2 family member playing, one of them plays legitimately, and other one secretly hacks, so if they ban the IP address, the innocent player will also be not able to play.

Well there are not a lot of family playing and banning it for a certain time would help teach the hacker a lesson while his family member torments him and gets him in trouble and he will stop than maybe

When you see stuff like this, I'm pretty sure it means those to players IP's have been blocked. Or it may just be the account that's blocked.

They can not IP ban because multiple people may play of the same IP (if you don't know what that is.....).

People can change IP easily, and there are better ways to ban, like banning MAC adress, or this works well in Steam, VAC Ban a.k.a banning SteamID.

ip can be changed real easy using a proxy , mac adress can be changed very easy, even cloned so it is pointless to use this kind of ban imagine if you are in a arey/network wich has only one server wich distributes internet if the server ip gets baned no computer in that network will be able to acces tanki

You can only make one ID in one browser... Hell block ID when you hack.

yes but once yours is ban you can no longer go on here due to there being something tracing you and making sure you can't get on...

That something is traceing only your baned ip lets say your ip is x if u change it to y you are able to play again even your ISP can give you a new ip at your request and what if you have dynamic ip ? :)

User xx is blocked. Logically this means the user is blocked, not the IP.
