should i buy viking m1, isida m1, shaft m1, smoky m1 or wasp m1?

Viking M1 is excellent if you like slow gameplay, and it has plenty of health.

 

Isida M1 is pretty nice, and you will gain xp pretty fast.

 

Shaft and Wasp are not really worth it, and I don't suggest smoky either.

M1 Viking - Excellent, great buy for its price. Speed upgrade is good and has great health and stability.

M1 Isida - If you like healing, then go for it. Not worth the 18K, but M2 unlocks early and is cheap.

M1 Shaft - Another relatively cheap turret. Good upgrade, but don't use Shaft as your primary weapon.

M1 Smoky - It is very cheap at 11K, and it is good in Polygon DM up to WO3 (you won't have to compete with Thunders). Into the Lieutenant ranks, it gets a little bit weak, but at LT Col where M2 unlocks, it becomes OP (from what I've heard).

 

M1 Wasp - (I don't have this) From my observation, it is decent if you want speed. You'll going to need a decent Rail paint if you are going to use Wasp. I recommend Hornet because M2 unlocks early and M1 has enough protection against Rails.

 

Edit: Sorry M2 Smoky unlocks at Colonel, not LT Col.

Well if you like defending more than other styles, get the mammoth, it's nice and strong, though very small. On small maps, and in defense Mammoth is good with short and medium range, so I suggest Twins, Thunder or Freeze.

I suggest Isida and Hornet, although Wasp is good if you have Rail protection.

Defensive eh? Your best bet would be Isida in my opinion.  Although if you defend then Freeze. But of course that ain't in the choices.
