just a question

I was wondering if all the guns are "equal" in this game, and i say equal with quotations because they really aren't. Why are the guns different prices? If a thunder m3 has just as much potential as a freeze m3 to kill a mammoth (which it doesn't) then why aren't the evenly priced? I really makes me angry when I see the more expensive guns like thunder, twins, firebird, and smoky lose to the lower priced but still "equal" guns like isida, freeze, and railgun. And also why is thunder so underpowered? Thunder can never be equal to the other guns as long as it has the self-destruct feature, that is so stupid btw. If you give thunder self-damage because it shots close to itself, then theoretically twins and ricochet would be impossible because nothing is strong enough to contain the heat of plasma. And isida needs to have it's price raised, it can easily kill any gun because of the gain back feature. It's about time tanki actually makes the game equal by the real definition.

I think devs wanted to introduce buying strategy and so have different priced guns that unlock at different ranks. Surely this is more interesting and requires more thinking before buying.

but its still unfair because what if i want to buy twins because i like it (ttwins is most expensive gun btw) why should i have to lose to someone who bought isida the cheapest gun? It doesnt make sense

Different weapons are better in different situations. As for Thunder's self-destruct feature, good Thunder users know how to use this to their advantage, and so stop an opponent getting a kill from them when they're on low health in a DM match, for example. As for the prices, you do raise an interesting point, I admit... Though I think the prices would have something to do with the damage per minute rates of each weapon, with those having a higher DPM rate being more expensive, as they are more likely to inflict more damage on paper.

In the end, it doesn't turn out that way in-game, but since prices are part of the weapons' statistics (as are the DPM rates), you can only ever base stats on other stats. That's just the way it is. Arguably, the higher-priced weapons are also more versatile (can be used in more situations) than the lower-priced weapons; for example, Rail has a very long reload and Isida has a very short range. Therefore, you could be paying more for the bonus of versatility, too.

but then the weapons are not equal, tanki lied.

You've understood me incorrectly. What I said basically implied that the weapons are not the same - they're individual weapons, and that's different to equality. The concept of equality as used by the devs is that the weapons are on an equal tier now, and so can compete viably with one another. Your concept of equality seems to be that all the weapons should be the same price, and should have the same chance of killing each other, which completely removes the point of having different weapons. Karl Marx might have agreed with your idea of equality, but the majority of people agree with the concept of equality as used by the devs.

M3 Thunder is under powered compared to smoky , and hornet too : compared to wasp

Tanks which unlock fast are under powered  -_-

but freezer M2 and m3 are over powered (they are really :annoying:)

The game is not "balanced" ((
