I personally think freeze would win.

1: It can be upgraded at lower ranks meaning it can be effective even more earlier.

2: If you have a fast hull and freeze the opponent you can get away with it and have stung them and repeat over and over.

3: Just like 2, freeze people can be annoying and hard to hit.

4: Freeze upgrades are cheaper.

5: Last but not least offense really isn't a good path.

This is my opinion, please respect it even if you got a problem with it.

Although firebird is still also good.

I think I've said this before in this very thread but I love them both equally; however, since I want other stuffz, I'm not wasting 275k on M3 hence why I have an account devoted to only Firebird.

M2 beat freeze m3 you cant even ply with m3 fire you always die and paints are useless

In my opinion here is the balance of short range weapons:

Freeze beats Isida (longer range and slows it down so the isida can never catch up to fight back)

Fire beats Freeze (Same range but fire kills quicker)

Isida beats Fire (Nothing stops isida from catching up so its self-heal can keep it alive longer than the firebird will last)

yeah but fire can kill someone faster but freeze can stop someone
