Best m1 turret is rico since it can lay waste of m2 hulls. M2 thunder or hammer since they're just so op. For m3 i will have to say hammer. I destroyed everything with it on the test server

Twins M1 is better IMO.  M2 Thunder isn't that good IMO. And the test server doesn't give an accurate representation....but yeah, Hammer M3 against other M3s is pretty powerful.

Vulcan goes better with heavy hulls, rico does better with lighter hulls. I would get rico as it does better with your hornet.

Guys, I hate to break it to ya... but M3 thunder sucks. Theres soo many people with protections from it that it is super ineffective. Even without people having paints, it is not great. Smoky is better. Trust me, I have both Smoky and Thunder at around 20/50 MUs, and almost never use Thunder.

 

Also, NM4U, how do you have the helper paint? I looked through the list of all helpers and did not see your name anywhere...

Lol M0 Firebird is a joke. Less damage than freeze, no afterburn, and no freezing effect.

M1 Freeze is quite strong because the M1 hulls and turrets it's against simply don't turn fast enough.  I agree, it is right up there with Twins and Thunder.

M3 Thunder is not that powerful against the other M3s.

M0 Twins is laughable, with short range, low speed, and long reload.

M1 Firebird unlocks early and so is no match for M1 Freeze.

M2 Firebird has almost no afterburn, so Twins and Smoky are definitely better. And the cone angle is needed.

M2 Thunder is not that good. M2 Twins is only good on smaller maps after the nerf, Smoky is the best M2.

 

M3 It is only Smoky. Not Thunder.

 

At M4 there's no way Vulcan is up there. Probably Twins, because of the faster firing rate, or Hammer.

They are comparable. Both don't perform that well against M3s but are great at the rank they unlock.

m1 thunder is op. It is as strong as rail, and splashes, and has no warm up. Its damage fades, but it is still superior. It is still effective a my early m2 rank, and when everyone else has m0's at wo 4, it is lethal.

I think my M4 Thunder would rule a lot of games if it wasn't for the self damage. When they nerfed the thunder, they greatly increased the splatter damage, which hosed thunder completely. If they would reduce the splatter back to what it was where you were not killing yourself it would be OP again. I rarely play the thunder since they did that because what does every tank do when they see thunder coming? Run up in your face where you damage yourself.

 

So you want m4 thunder to "rule"?  Thunder right now is perfectly balanced.  IT can rule the midfield.  The ONE weakness of thunder is the self-damage.  Take that away and you have an OP turret.

I think that the turret is about how the player uses it,Great aim players -

M0- Railgun/Thunder and shaft is good for Brest map

M1- Definatly Thunder for Mid range maps, but Railgun for Long range map, like stadium.

M2-Thunder is probably the best for a good aimed, but M2 Railgun stands a chance, though thunder has good splash damage to kill enemy's behind buildings or waiting to recharge.

M3- Don't know yet, but Smokey is heard to be great as well as Railgun (again, ikr?)

 

For player who like to charge in and spray the opponent-

M0- Freeze Definatly rules this zone, especially since at M0 not many tankers know how to rotate their turrets, plus good for ctf to slow people down if you like to camp

M1- Freeze again, but if you are a player who doesn't,'t have many crystals, I would say firebird isn't far behind, you just need to circle your opponent and use a fast hull!

M2- Firebird takes the prize by a long shot, it's unstoppable with a fast hull, like wasp, I would suggest the Firebolt kit for people who love to play with fire ;) Firebolt kit= M2 Firebird M2 Wasp and Rustle paint (looks like leaves).

M3- Again I have no idea, but I've heard that M3 freeze is awesome, but hey, don't judge me if I'm wrong, I'm still pretty new to the M2's! But firebird with the M2 alteration is awesome! =D M2 firebird alteration = %300 more burn (that's good) but %50 more energy consumption, (your ammo lasts only half as long as normal) but hey! %300 more burn?! We're talkin about serious firepower here! (get my pun? XD )

Well, you could always get the M1 Thunder alteration for 50 000 crystals, no self damage but no splash damage either, but you can disequilibrium alterations btw, switch between standard and the station setting by clicking on it :)
