Legit issue this time

Ok so this time I have a legitimate question, and not some dumb bathroom problem (so please read). It is about the relative pricing of items in the garage. So, let's look at M1 turrets and hulls. M1 Firebird is at 7K. M1 Twins and M1 Spatula are over 35K. So Twins costs 5 times as much as Firebird, but is it really 5 times as good as Firebird? Everyone knows that at different modifications (M0, M1, etc.) certain turrets are better than others. Assuming that "you get what you pay for", M1 Firebird is not so good (compared to other M1's), and that is most likely true, due to its cheap price. But, for Twins, at 35K, is the price tag saying that it is (like I said before) 5X as good as Firebird? Same with Smoky. M1 Smoky is only 11K, so someone may not expect a lot from it. However, when I first got it a long time ago, I got a lot more than that 11K I spent. I got high D/L's in Nonnroh DM's as well as a high score. I am not saying that the prices are too high, I just think that the dev's need to look into this. I heard that after MU's, they are going to check the stats of the weapons to see if anything to be changed.

Another problem I have is with MU's and chance. Most of you know that with Microupgrades, you need to pay a small amount of crystals to micro-upgrade a modification. However, there is a chance factor. Sometimes it lands on a green spot, and nothing happens (except that you lose crystals). Other times, you may receive a gift (refund of crystals) or supplies. Then, if you are lucky, it will land on the actual spot for micro upgrading. I think this "chance" factor is not so good. If I want to buy, let's say M2 Hornet for 70K crystals, I click the "Buy" button and then the "Yes" button (Do you confirm this improvement). There is no chance factor; I click the buy button, I lose 70K crystals, and I get M2 Hornet. This concern may have been answered before, but I'm not sure

Thanks for reading.

Answer to first paragraph: Well, twins is really effective for what we pay for, especially at WO4. And if you think smoky is better than what we pay, take a look at forester, it's cheap, huh, 10% rail? That doesn't effect anything, well, it is really useful for light tanks, and few tanks have chance of surviving extra shot by those railguns, this thing raises it even more.

About micro upgrades:

There is chance factor: You complain you can't upgrade.

There is no chance factor: You still complain that "Why should I spend that much just to upgrade my gun by such a little thing if I can just upgrade it to next M?"

This is exactly what I was saying dude, it's evil.kinevil, I hate it when my thunder m3 (which is one of the most expensive guns) loses to a cheap gun like isida or freeze. It's not funny, why should I lose to a gun that costs like 250k to fully upgrade when I have spent over 330k on my gun? It doesn't make sense. And also isida has TWO special effects it gains back life and it can heal, every other gun has ONE special effect, and plus tanki was FOOLISH enough to make isida the cheapest gun! It's like they want to make us angry and screw us over. Micro upgrades chances, when you start upgrading the chances of you getting the green is like 70% and chance of getting the yellow 2 upgrades is like 10%. And when you get to the end (that is if you can get there since it takes like 5 hours to upgrade ONE tank) the chances of getting an upgrade have pretty much gone to 15%. This is ridiculous. I would rather have micro upgrades cost 10x more than having to wait forever to upgrade one damn hull! And also it is gambling! The other day I was testing the micro upgrades on test server and my dad walked behind me and asked me if I was gambling he then confiscated my laptop. This is just another way tanki inadvertantly screw us over. They just want more money.

Firstly, Freeze may beat you face to face, but you will always beat freeze in a duel cause you've got range advantage. Balanced.

If you think one gun has advantage over another, change to that gun, and you will realize it has flaws of its own. Then you will switch to another gun, and you will keep doing that until you return to your first and realize there is no "ultimate" weapon. Only the one that fits you best.

Actually for thunder to do max damage it would be in the range of freeze so you just proved my point. LOL.

I didn't say anything about max damage. You'll need 3-4 shots to take our a hornet in most medium and small maps, 5-6 for viking. That's enough time to take them out before they get close enough to kill you first.

Isida has one huge disadvantage; its tiny range. It can only steal back health if you're in-range...

Most of the time it isn't. And what if your using a slow tank like mammoth or titan? Your argument is invalid

Most people who use isida have fast tanks so your pretty much screwed.

I agree that the current microupgrade system in the test server is not so good, instead of the successful upgrade option being put onto one side of the bar, I think that it should be spread into parts, for example, half of the success part on one side, and the other half on the other side.

I think that most of the guns are pretty balanced right now. Of course, Firebird M1 is slightly weaker, and Smoky M1 after WO5. However, it's your decision what turret you want to upgrade. For example, Freeze M2 is really overpowered if you can upgrade it early. It's the same with the hulls. So, if you think a weapon is weak, simply switch weapons until the next modification, where the gun can become powerful again.

False.

As a thunder user your strategy should be to:

Stay away from your opponent and use vertical surfaces and other opponents to your advantage.

If you are on the bottom of silence near the red flag, and there is a freeze coming off the right side - shoot him once, he will come to the ramp, shoot him twice, he will be on the bottom and start shooting, shoot him the third time and he is dead. It doesn't matter what hull you use in this scenario.

If he has a stronger tank, it will take more shots, but will also take longer to reach you.

You never actually answered my question. I said what if you are using a slow tank and a freeze catches, you just gave me another bs excuse for thunder not being weak when its the worst gun.

Well I gave you a solution, stay away from your opponent. You can't stay away from all the freezes all the time, but that's when their advantage kicks in and yours gives out.

If you think close combat have more advantage than medium, switch.

Like I said, there is no ultimate weapon.

I know. I use Isida M2/Hornet M2 and Electra, and while I find it suits my playing style, the tiny range does hinder you quite a bit... Each weapon has its positives and negatives, and I've seen all weapons dominate battles before. In the end, it depends on the player, not just the weapon they're using.
