Hacker hacked my skype

Today, I added my next TOF oponent in my skype. he gave me a file and told me to accept it. I didnt know what it is and i accepted it. After that I got hacked. He hacked my skype and other people saying he can hack anything now that was in my computer. if hacker send u anyf file, please dont accept it. And, can anyone help me get rid of that hacker and save my skype, tanki account everything?

 

Edited: actually, i am not sure if the tof oponent send me the file or another guy did... I can tell who the hacker is once i get my skype back only for 2 min. I added my tof oponent and another guy in my contact at same time because i didnt know who was the actual one. SO, I messed up. If i possibly can get my skype back, I can detect the hacker.

....huh-maybe email. Did you have any back-up email? If so, then it's easier than easy. Just don't use that computer.

thanks for trying to help but i cant do send email to them for help until my acc get hacked. My acc is alright now but my skype got hacked. I want to prevent my account from getting hacked and also get my skype rid of hacker.

Uhhh, yeah, as Jonathan said, don't use your computer. Do you have a smartphone? You can contact to forum for help from it, and later use your computer when you find out what to do.

Wonder how good this hacker is? If he has access to everything, then surely he has access to his Apple account (or equivalent for some other smartphones), and so there's a chance he's got into that, too, depending on the smartphone?

Sounds a bit sci-fi, doesn't it? I mean, usually such people hack NASA stuff, not some guy's skypes...

 

What I think is, one option is he sent you a keylogger which got your passwords when typing them (or somehow got the stored ones in your browser) which he later changed. The other option is he got your email password, then used the 'forgot password' steps of Skype, sent a password reset link to your email, then opened it and changed your Skype password.

 

Anyway, open Task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and look for strange processes, one of them could be the file/keylogger or whatever you accepted from that guy. Scan your computer aswell.

 

Then try to recover your email, put strong security questions and password. Then by using the email, reset your other passwords (hoping 'hacker' didn't already link your skype, facebook, etc. with his email). That's it, hope it helps somehow.

 

If someone has better ideas/corrections, then share them

Sounds a bit sci-fi, doesn't it? I mean, usually such people hack NASA stuff, not some guy's skypes...

Actually, not really, no; there are loads of corrupt files circulating the Internet, intending to breach one aspect of a person's computer (eg Skype, e-mail accounts) so they can get access to the entire machine. Though the advice you've given is appropriate, nice stuff ^_^

You can run a scan with your virus scanner.

 

You can also open task manager, if you have windows and check if you see any unknown processes. You could google the name of it.
