okay after reading all guides and expert suggestion. I finalised isida, freeze,firebird turret and hornet as my main hull for my career. I hate using drugs, feels like cheating. And heavy and slow hulls makes me sleep. So can i take my current setup till the end. I am on sergeant level now any suggestion would be good before i start upgrades.

yeah u could , but i guarantee  that you will use druggs once a while , stay away from firebird , cheap maybe , but not good until m2 , isida is best for low ranks by far , i still use isida m2 , and very well with it.

If using drugs feels like cheating, there'll be a ton of "cheating" as you get to higher ranks. Save your drugs. Freeze and Hornet is a good combination, though.

Hornet eh? Use Forester as your paint. That will last you for a long time! The reason why is because you're a light tank. Your biggest opponent are Snipers. (Railgun and Shaft) But Shaft has lost its popularity and you can escape/feign an attack. However, a Railgun can one-shot or leave you with very low health. A Forester lets you survive more.  Even if you're a Colonel, or Lieutenant Colonel, it's still pretty decent. Though by then you should think about getting a better paint.

 

My opinion: Start off with Isida/Hornet combo first. Maximum Crystal/Exp income.

 

(Should go for Hornet M1 first. Nobody likes a Light-tank with no speed)

my advice s not to get hornet rail but get a mammoth and use something good to kill them all

Use the weapons and hulls that suits you the most first,don't battle high ranks,play objective game modes like CTF (Capture the Flag) AND CP (Control Points) to earn a lot of xp and ranking up your score.Hornet is a decent hull for a starter like you.Use it till you feel like getting a new hull.

 

Even though you hate using supplies,they sometimes can come in handy.Like if your holding a flag and no team mates around you,use double armour and nitro or if your having a hard time killing a tank,use double power.Buy a decent paint like metallic.Forester is a good choice but only works for some certain hulls (Wasp,Viking,Titan and Mammoth).Don't upgrade everything (You will regret it if you do) Only upgrade the weapon and hull that your comfortable of.Always play the maps that you feel comfortable in it (Don't force yourself playing the maps that you can't handle).Take your time to master the weapon and hull that you have use a lot (Nobody's forcing you,take your time).

 

Since most people WILL recommend DM,i suggest not to (For a starter like you of course) But you can go to DM battles as long as you have a powerful weapon and a strong hull to go with.The reason of this is for you to learn the easy way to rank up kills first than the HARD way.

 

Oh and don't waste your time playing a lot,you have a life and DON'T waste it (Not like i did -_- BIG fail to me).

People drug 24/7 in CTF now. I have given up hope for CTF games. Go play DM. It's fun and not to mention big Exp gain.

Most people ONLY drug when there's a high battle fund or when a gold box drops,instant drugging parade -_- And there are some drugging just for fun  <_<
