Capture the Flag [CTF]

 

Players are divided into 2 teams, the goal is to capture the enemy’s flag and prevent the opposing team from capturing your own flag. If you take the flag and then get killed, you lose it.

However, your teammates can retake it and continue. If the flag is touched by enemy’s tank, it automatically returns to their base. It works the same with your team’s flag. To capture the flag you need to take enemy’s flag and bring it to your flag which should be at your base at the moment. In order to win your team needs to capture more flags till the battle is over or be the first to capture a number of flags specified in battle settings. The amount of crystals you get is based on how many flags you captured and how many enemy tanks you destroyed. 

 

CTF battle is limited by time or number of captured flags.

 

It is the most popular mode in Tanki Online.

 

This mode is not as reliable as Deatmatch when it comes to earning crystals (here a lot depends on team work) but due to the bonus for capturing and returning flags battle fund grows as fast as in DM battles.

 

Recipe for success in CTF battles is simple. Instead of simply destroying enemy tanks, pay more attention to the flags. Thus, by capturing and returning flags and destroying those who try to take your own flag a player will not only be extremely useful for his or her team but will also score a lot more points than by just destroying enemy machines.

Dusseldorf CTF has got to be the worst. .. . .

I'm one of the few who dislikes CTF battle mode. The only turret I use is Isida, because otherwise I never do any good. Healing the riskier players always puts me at the top of the leader board.

I like it, you can win XP not just for destroys but, by capturing the flag or return the flag.

i think its a good game mode for people that like teamwork and  its a good mode for who have an Isida.
