Control Points [CP]

 

Teams fight for control over certain points on the map. A team gets points for every second they control a point. The more points captured, the more points the team gets. The winner is the team with the most points. Teams’ spawn points are the points that they are currently controlling, that’s why CP battles are always very intense. In addition each team has a base. It works as a spawn point in case if a team isn’t controlling any points (for example at the start of the game). Killed player appears at a point closest to the place of his or her death. However, if the point is being captured by other team’s players and they have more tanks there, team respawns at this point are blocked. So, in order to successfully capture an enemy point, it is necessary to create at least small numerical advantage over the opposing team. 

 

When the battle starts you need to capture as many neutral points as possible. On large maps with 5-7 points it’s enough to send one player to capture the closest points. At the same time, other players should start capturing the next point.

 

Thus, the successful capture of third neutral point on a map with 5 points gives the team a significant advantage, both strategic and psychological. Usually there is an odd number of points on a map, so in order to win it’s enough to capture one point more than the other team.

 

Then, together with your teammates you should try to drive out the enemy from the remaining points and lock them on their base (the spawn point in case the team doesn’t have any captured points).

 

It should be noted that in CP mode each member of a team plays a very important role. Usually a team with fewer players or with players who are unable to work together starts to lose really quickly.

My (and most other people's) least favourite battle mode. I'm not sure quite what it is about the gameplay, but it just doesn't seem to work. If you do play, though, Twins is the best choice and will dominate.
