The hacking problem

With hacking becoming more and more of a problem in tanki (I see it in 8/10 games i play).

I ask are the dev's of tanki working on a solution to this problem? i have seen the punishment for this is varied ranging from a block to just a 1 month ban.

In my opinion all players who are found to be hacking should be permenantly blocked from the game this would deter others from hacking.

Also aswel as punishment i believe dev's should be working on a fix so these hacks will no longer work.

They practily have 0 tolerance for them now, A Month Ban, and if Repeated forever ban

No, the Chat moderator bans the hacker for a month and reports him to tech support for block.

Chat moderators don't do blocks. In the end; every reported hacker will face a block.

 

And ofcourse are the developers aware of these hacks, they are constantly improving the anti cheat system.

It's just that it's close to impossible to make this game hack-free... as the hackers improve their programs aswell.

Thank you splitterpiont for your info it is reassuring to know the procedure involved in dealing with hackers because I have seen them openly bragging ingame about it saying "I will not get banned".

I also do understand that dev's are aware of the problem and must be trying to deal with it but right now it seems they are on the loosing side of the battle.

Not all online game is safe , Tanki have do anything against this hacker . In 2011 nightmare for Tanki where there is players using hacks that make them be inside the building and make their weapon Freeze and Fire has Infinite bullet ( which mean you don't have to reload it ) . And Tanki has successful stop this hackers from hacking Tanki . But day by day the hackers trying to make new hacks to hack tanki . All you have to do now is waited for this thing :)

Thats what they are doing , anti cheat and they do block for ever.

At first when i sent a screenshot to yele he had block them forever later on he gave 1 month ban. At first it was permanent but later on it became 1 month ban flying hack. So if anyone do it for the first time they get 1 month so they will realize it and later on they might not do it. But there are still some rules which permanent ban or block. And yes they are still and i think never will stop cause before there were also hacks and now also so they are working on ANTI - CHEAT.

Secondly, read what Split said. Mods don't block, they can't block. They ban for a month and report to tech support, who do the block. Maybe you've seen Mods posting things like 'BLOCK DATE ...' - this is a simple copy-paste from player's karma. Doesn't mean they did the block.

 

As for the topic, anti-cheat is being developed every day, soon a new version will be released.

Currently our programmers are working on a new version of anti-cheat system which will solve all or most of the current problems. There will be a detailed video about it in the near future, with interviews.

It seems you didn't get what I mean..Anyway:

Not all of them get blocked because the anti-cheat isn't that perfect yet, plus not all players report hackers when they see them.

As for the week thing - there are 3 section mods there, not 20. They do the best they can, I can't answer for their work, nor it's your business.

Then why dont they take more mods? And actually it IS our bussines , since we just want to play fair games without hackers.

Don't ask me, it's not up to me. I can answer you though, it's because there aren't many people who fit the requirements

Yes, it is your business to care about hackers, but it's not your business to blame mods for not doing their job. That's what I mean.
