My entry for the postcard competition, its nothing compared to what some people can do.

Not a bad render, though it looks a little strange.. Are you using bump mapping?

 

Remodel the box to have those grooves and holes in it, and try to map the texture on it again, would look awesome I think.

f-stop is a camera thing - it signifies the radiss of the opened aperture blades. The higher the f-stop - the smaller the ring - consecutively the less light gets into the camera, and more depth of field you have.

 

So if you want that shallow depth of field, a.k.a bokeh, make the f-stop really small like 1-2. I assume the "radius" is the same thing, but in different words. In that case the radius should be pretty big.

WE can extrude .svg files in blender.

It make life a lot easier,,, you don't have to trace it with curves in blender.

Maybe we can convert it to mesh and decemilate it to reduce extra geometry and make it low poly.
