They're drawn, take a picture, load them into photoshop and add brightness, colour and shadows/dark edges for depth perception.

The idea is from a tutorial on youtube where a woman did the same thing but with an astronaut chimp as well as ydzero's avatars on the clipboard.

I'm sorry, MrNewb who is my cousin gave them to me and said that I take the full credit after I bought him crystals to start off the game. I had no idea. He said that's how he did them >.<

Tank viewer was created by soiko(A Russian programmer, he is player), Tanki only supplied him with the data. Freely so no copyright issue broken. 

All resources for any art can be easily taken from the web as long as you don't get paid with real money.Profit. Also it is wise to agree to the terms the resources are given, sometimes a "like" or "credit" needs to be given to get permission to use them. But they are free. Images who have site names typed repeatedly on the image(example shutter-shock) are not free images and it is a crime to use them without buying them. Due to the copy right issue rules.

As long as you don't have profit(business, getting money) or take credit for the images you take then you are free to use any image for any art as long as the image's terms are read and agreed with.

Like Eragon said, most resources are allowed in non-commercial use, sometimes with credit given to the source. The reason we look down on that here is because we are the Creative League, and we create, not combine, modify or otherwise alter existing graphics.

 

Of course claiming that existing content is your own is a different issue entirely. It just means you are a liar, and makes you a plagiarizer.

but get credit for entire picture not for tank _/editing environment , also they use lots of plugins those are supplied with normal editing software     ( extra plugins)
