Let's Dicuss The Most Popular Map: Silence

So, silence is the most popular map, but why?  Tell me your thoughts on it.  Also, why is Silence 2 not so popular?

Here are some differences which IMO change the gameplay between Silence and Silence 2 and ultimately make Silence better than Silence 2:

 

1)  There are walls at the top of the cliff in blue team in Silence 2.  This mean that there is no sniping to be done from there.  Also, you cannot escape from their when you have taken blue team's flag, and you cannot attack from there as a blue-teamer.

2)  Another factor is the sort of tower in red team.  Here a railgun is particularly effective and can do damage to any attackers before they get near the flag.  This means thats attacks are easier to deal with.  In Silence 2 often there is a long stalemate, because there are only 2 attack routes.  However, people do tend to miss the attack route from blue team where you can jump down into the heart of red's base.

4)  In Silence 2, on the ramp at the left of the map if you are red team, there is another game-changing, huge difference.  The ramp has been halved in effect and only half as many tanks can fit up there, whereas in Silence you can flood tanks up there and attack heavily.  Although this halved ramp makes say goldboxes interesting to catch, it is another reason why it is so hard to get flags.

5)  Yet another reason is the positioning of blue team's flag.  It is obscured by some boxes and even if you manage to get up the ramps it is almost impossible to get away without someone spawning.

6)In my opinion I believe that Silence 2 is one sided, particularly in the ways I mentioned above.  For Blue team, there are three attack routes, for red team only 2.  Because of this un-balanced game-play it is not as popular as its predecessor.

7)  Also, Silence is available from very low ranks, and so is a part of a tankman's gameplay whereas Silence 2

 is unlocked later and so when you play it, it feels different and you prefer the original.
