Is Thunder really that bad at higher ranks

Thunder...ughh i hate it's splash damage >_<. Used to get pwned by m2 thunders all the time when i was a captain and lower.

Thunder m0 at the rank of Gefreiter-Sergeant Major is one of the MUST have guns. It totally beasts in the low ranks but from what I've seen of the message I'm not gonna waste my crystals to test m1,m2 and m3 in the high ranks.

ok one thing...you may have doubts for m2-m3 modif....but m1 is the most OP turret around those ranks....i remember when i had first bought m1 thunder at WO4, everyone was blaming me that i was druggin'...LMAO...and it was so funny cause i wasn't....m1 thunder was killing so fast...and that was the time that i did my D/L record without drugs...which was 95....i have posted it here...earlier pages...you can look for it! About later ranks....i play a lot lately against gissmos with my m2 thunder m2 hornet...most of them have anti-thunder paints..true...but my D/L remains over 2 despite the fact that i fight m3s with anti-thunder protections...which means that m3 thunder is gonna rock! ;)

Freeze also has splash damage, just line em' up. (facepalm) don't get thunder m3 it sucks, it's the worst gun in the game, yes, it's worse than shaft. Why? Because if someone rams a shaft, it can't kill itself!! I use firebird and smoky way more than thunder m3, and judging by my calculations, I should have enough by Marshall to get m3 smoky.

In my opinion thunder is one of the best weapons in this game... yeh u can kill yourself with it, and if it happens to you many times - you are unexperienced, many players think that thunder should be used with medium/heavy hulls, but its perfect with fast hull like wasp or even hornet... i have m3 thunder and i only use it with hornet m3 and emerald and i usually play with it in maps like red alert or kungur!!! i am always on the top in my team and i am not the one who can be killed easily... thunder has many pros and if you are not skilled enough to use them for your good just go and play with freeze/isida trust me you need to be a real talent in being beginner (if u know wht i mean) to miss with those weps... if i ofended any freeze/isida owners... i have both of them m3 and i use them very often :)

 

 

and once again if you are unexperienced ( if u know what i mean ^_^ ) player and cant just play like a boss with thunder, please dont call thunder a bad weapon, its just you a bad player :))

well thunder paints wont be that popular soon... everyone now are trying to get paints against freeze/firebird or smoky and railgun :) bad days are comming for railgun users :D

well,mainly savana and needle get popular , inferno not really and for rail major protection not really,but you find many paints with minor rail protection which are very helpfull :D

its really common thing for me to play with generalissimos with my thunder m3 and its really good because only few of them wear thunder prot paints, they mostly have prot from freeze,railgun and etc. and i can 3-4-5 hit kill medium/light tanks :3 :D its really usefull if you know how to use it

Another update of my fav turret.....now i am finally among high rankers...and can claim clearly that the myth that says "Thunder is useless on high ranks" is absolute lie!!!

Mine is still m2...and as you can see i'm doing just fine against m3 hulls...even if they have anti-thunder paints!

and I have viking m3 which has 258 hp with micro upgrades.. and getting me a prodigi.. now people will stop getting railgun.. or they don't, who knows.. but definetely they will be discussing if railgun is not effective neither
