Ability to test out turrets/hulls before buying them

So this is an idea that I saw on the Feedback site a couple of weeks ago. It was not my original idea, but Semyon put it "Under Review", so it is somewhat legitimate. Basically, if this idea is implemented, before we buy a turret/hull, we can try them out. Maybe, for a small fee of crystals, we can test out a new modification for a short period of time. In the test server, you can only test out basic stats, like turret rotation speed, firing rate, etc. but not how effective that gun is against other hulls of the same modification. Also, this "trial test" can be used only once per modification or else that would be like buying and selling.

Nice idea, but a change.

There is a seperate button. "Test -amount of crystals-"

 

We go into it with our new thing we want to test, for example, for me I want to test railgun M2.

We go there, a list comes up, showing hulls, modifications, guns and paints.

I choose, umm, M1 hornet.I get to shoot it as many times I want, then I choose, tundra, I shoot it to test something.

After I've done, I go back, I feel happy, then buy it.

in one of the recent topics, Semyon said that in the future they will be stuff like joining the battle and it will allow you to play with a weapon for free as a trial and then when you finish it give you a discount on the weapon!

i can't find the exact comment but it was in a topic and he said something about "in the future we will let players "when join battle" test a free weapon in the battle! after the battle ends he/she will be able to buy that weapon in a discount.

After the free trial the weapon will be available for you only in a discount, etc, however when is this going to be in the game is unkown, currently it's just an idea.

hey genius test is full of beginners (if you know what i mean) even m0 thunder seems like m3 for me while playing there...

your answer is not suitable to this topic... Buy a weapon on a discount??? everyone does that but maker of this thread is asking about testing a weapon not about finding cheapest way to buy weapon...

You wanna test those weapons on yourself on the normal server? They won't allow you to use them in a normal battle.

we are currently thinking of a new idea.
Imagine, you are joining a battle, the game says "Would you like to try let's say Freeze M3 in this battle?". For free of course. Then you play with it and after the battle you can get it at a discount. But only right after the battle. This is one of many things that are being discussed right now and it may be implemented in future.
Not free upgrades, but still quite interesting.

That doesn't mean it isn't good. But unfortunately you are right that this hasn't even started yet, and according to the tanki website, it isn't even planned yet! :(
