Tanki Morales: Teaming in DM's

Ok, so we all do it, and I really am yet to have an opinion on it.  But in DM's especially at higher ranks, people with the same weapons team.  This is very effective and can be devastating towards the enemy.  For example, smokies can team and snipe together, protecting each other, whilst getting lots of kills.  Twins can clump together and pound enemies to dust.  Fire and freezes respectively and run round and pulverize enemies.  Isidas, can just wait for a friend to get to low health then kill him.  Rails are particularly good for teaming.

 

But is it right?  Isn't it unfair on people who have come into a DM wanting to have everyone killing everyone.  If they you want a TDM, why not join a TDM.

 

But, on the other hand, teaming in DM's is fun, and it is a kind of tanki law.  When you are in a DM, half the comments below are "TEAM YOU NOOB".

I only do it when my friends join that very same DM otherwise I go solo all the time.

i like teaming sometimes i team with players that have another weapon that i use and is a quite good method too do a lot of friends ^_^

But if are more rails i dont make allies with all,max 1 or 2 rail users(just an example)

Teaming is great...you make a lot of allies that would help you when a freezer is at your back..and kill him..and others enemies

I think it's fine, and I enjoying playing in coordination with other rails.

I don't play on this account anymore, but since I started playing the game, I have always played DM, day in, day out. At low ranks (under WO1) where everyone is still using M0's, there is a lot of teaming going on. In lower ranks, the chat is always filled up with English-speaking noobs asking for teaming. Usually they don't know how to strategically team and just use a "I don't kill you, you don't kill me." I don't really have a problem with teaming even in higher ranks, but when I used to use Rail in DM, it was annoying because since most tanks require 2 Rail shots to kill, one Rail would shoot and then the other will just steal the kill. I have heard higher ranked players (General +) say that teaming is used a lot, but in Lieutenant ranks I don't see a lot of people asking for teams. Sometimes for me I try not to kill Shafts, since I feel bad for them because they are at a disadvantage.

Team with a railgun, wait for him to get him shot, shoot him, then type in chat "Sorry, was aiming for someone else!" Do this 3 or 4 times, then leave him and find another one to do this with.

It's the only mode where teaming with enemy IS allowed.
