Ethan and his big sister Sophie were having a punch up.

Dad Jason was so angry he made them sit on one piece of paper.

All was now peaceful - no more punch up.

Why?

It has now been an hour, clue?

Yep. The paper is positioned under a closed door.  :P

New one - unless fighter566 or other peeps have a new riddle.

4 Cryptic riddles - dfferent answers - you can answer just 1, or more, if you wish. :)

1st.    Consume    (in)   one attempt.(3)

2nd.   Flowers     (in the) sleigh.(3)

3rd.   Employer's    (new)   ruse.(4)

4th.   Tom's (around)     more than half.(4)

Clue - the 4 answers are on your screen in front of u, when reading the riddles.

Clue - 1st part answer is EAT - 3 left to answer - easi peasi now.

Cryptic Guide

A cryptic riddle can be cracked as long as you read the riddle in the right way.

What the riddle appears to say when read normally is a distraction and usually has nothing to do with the answer.

The challenge is to find the correct way of reading the riddle that leads to the answer.

The number in brackets is the number of letters the answer has - this can be most helpful.

A cryptic riddle gives two ways of getting the answer, either can come first in the riddle.

Part of the riddle is a definition, which means the same as the answer.

The other part (the cryptic part, letter or wordplay) gives you another clue to the answer.

When you work out what is definition and what is letter / wordplay, usually the answer is  clear and you know you’ve cracked it.

It flattens things,

and without it,

it flattens you

It's in food

It's in buildings

It's in bridges too

Is this too hard?

or too soft for you?

 Didn't make it myself -
