Why it is forbidden to publicly discuss moderation.

Finally, discussions of ideas are allowed now, many players discuss ideas before posting them on Feedback. That's actually nice to see how the idea is developped by players together and then something truly useful comes up on the feedback site.

A move in the right direction.

As for the first example, why just not write to me or yele saying that the topic was locked without a reason. It will help. Actually locking topics when it is not necessary is a problem we are aware of. Of course opinions of the topic starter and those who take part in discussing it and opinion of the moderator that closed it may differ. We are aware of this and will ask mods not to close topics if it's unnecessary.

No one bothers to do that though, it takes time and then there's a chance that said PM will never be read...

I respect the fact that you and yele care enough to ask to send you our disagreements but the fact remains that there is no difference in forum moderation and chat moderation, one cannot even ban someone from the forum without a chat moderator's help. The forum has a 16+ icon and age requirement but the rules are there for a 8 year old. A forum is a place for discussion not for trolling every second thread that is made and then letting it die.

I can't even remember the last time we had a discussion in the General section. Right now the threads on the main page, this is an example, what made him lock the thread afterwards? I have never ever seen a discussion on team kick and he says "Already discussed many times" - The thing is, right now, forum moderation is at its lowest and needs to be fixed.

Rules are made for the majority of players. This majority is not ready for open discussion of moderators' actions. It was discussed many times with other communitiy managers and actual people who wrote these rules in the first place. We came to a conclusion that using PMs for that is the best way. And actually the fact that this topic has been started means that CMs and admins read PMs and analyze provided feedback.

Firstly because there's such a topic already, secondly because I thought it will go offtopic, just like the linked one.

No offence but that topic's name is irrelevant and hence cannot be found through search unless you are specifically looking for it. :]

With all the topics being locked etc etc. Could the devs implement a feature to merge topics together?

Like 2 similar topics get merged and then that can continue meaning a long discussion could go on about it and if it gets stickied it would be easy for players to find that rather than starting a brand new topic.

I would like to say something too. Last week someone reported me for something i said in a chat and i got banned for a day by russians. I never talk dirty to anyone, i don't want to insult anyone but the reason wasn't on that picture since there was no picture. if you don't believe me search gocac on russian side of forum.. But what i don't like is the status of all of us. if you have good friends as MODs here, you won't get banned for the same things as most of us. MODs should treat all of us equaly. I was getting banned for returning the insult to someone in this forum but MOD could see only inslut that i made. I was banned couple of times in complaints section even if i said that i wasn't aware that i posted there. some people posted there too saying post terminated and so on and didn't get banned. we are all strangers here, and at least you should respect our apologies. if i say that i'm sorry, i really am sorry. BOOM, BANNED. no talking for a week.

This is @FC_BayernMunchen. I posted with this account so if I get banned, it doesn't matter.

So we can send a PM to a moderator with a lot of content about moderator's actions, but we can't post something about it on the forum. So, what if there is a staff v players battle, and there are 10 moderators on the other team and I am the first to join. So, I can theoretically say anything I want about moderator's work since all of them are staff... But the second a regular user joins I can get a ban?

Personally, I haven't had any trouble with PMs with mods, the one time in now not so recent history when I was banned for a week I PMed FBI and I received an answer showing why I was banned in a matter of hours, although he was quite blunt over it :D. However, I agree, the main difference I see in the forum between a year ago and now is that there are many more closed topics, and there aren't nearly as many good discussions.

I didnt have troubles with MOD, even most of time they answered me without delay, people must understand that behind of scenes there are humans, that make mistakes ofc, but the solution isnt ----- at them, instead of that sending feedback might work, also a good idea that exist in other online games is implement system of tickets, that if players want to ban appeal or other stuff divide in such categories, where mods and/or admin can answer based on situation, maybe implement CSR (Customer System Representant) specially for tickets/complains could help instead of spam in this forum, anyway just an idea.

Should delete that word, before you get banned.
