No remembers the people who died in the Iraq-USA war. An attack on a defenseless country, claiming up to 500 000 innocent lives (90% of these lives were not american soldiers but innocent villagers)

 

9/11 is a tragedy, but there have been much bigger tragedies.

 

Take the genocide in Africa, over 1 million people have died and are still dying, yet no one remembers or helps

 

Remember 9/11, but also remember every other tragedy that has happened since the dawn of time.

Well tragedies like this are a very sensitive topic to discuss. The post may not seem much to majority, but to those who have indeed been impacted severely by the event will not find this funny. I've made the same mistake before, and a few people just blow up in anger. Wasn't easily forgiven. :P

9/11 was caused by Al-Qaeda. It was in retaliation to Western (United States mostly) interference with the Middle-eastern business. The civil eruptions and all. So when the US was attempting to help with good intentions, supplying them with money, military-supplies,  and driving back terrorists (Al-Qaeda), Al-Qaeda responded by killing a bunch of innocent people. That's why 9/11 is taken so seriously. Because it was done in pure hate and bad intentions.

 

Not to mention Al-Qaeda thinks that American influence is one of the biggest obstructions in non-Islamic governments.

 

And to top it off, Al-Qaeda's goal is to unite all Muslims and establishing one Islamic Nation.

 

But I wont go in too deep and talk about Politics and Religion. It will get me 100% banned. Lol!

Indeed. Especially since Obozo (Obama) has been elected. That guy doesn't know what he's doing, and clearly does not know how to be a president, or to be more specific, a leader. All of his ''speeches'' were created not by him, but by his assistance. That's why I do not listen to his speeches. They're just scape-goating and a bunch of non-sense.

 

The votes are pretty corrupt too. Race is becoming more of an issue in election (People were actually armed with guns and preventing anyone who looked like they wouldn't vote for Obama from entering the Building), and not to mention things like the Government letting Illegals vote.

 

To take this even further, people held in high social status are equally dull. Look at Michelle Obama, she claims that the US is ready to have a Female president. I'm not being sexist, but it's not about being the first, it's about being the best, and being most fit for the job.

 

Not to mention other tragedies like the death of US Ambassador. :/
