Is Freeze the no skills weapon of choice?

It seems that freeze is the great equalizer in many battles. For one weapon to completely slow down the opposition, yet take little to no skill to manage, trumps many players on the battle field. My question is why should one weapon be allowed to exert itself to such a degree.

Freeze does take a certain amount of skill to use, for example, circling an enemy tank to avoid being hit, freezing as many enemies as possible if you're about to be destroyed, identifying which enemy is the freezing priority, being able to do jumps consistently due to the lack of recoil, being able to avoid being damaged by an isida, and some other things. No weapon in tanki requires absolutely no skills to use well. For example, an unskilled freeze user might charge at another tank in hopes of freezing them, while the other tank could simply run away while shooting at the same time. Obviously, it isn't possible to stop an unskilled player from obtaining points completely, but they will never be able to use a weapon to its greatest potential without become more skilled with practice, advice, or both.

Well, even twins need some amount of skill to use perfectly, also, they will be nerfed with the physics update.

Erm, I couldn't capture a flag against a team of M0 Freezes with wasp... because they were too annoying...

Wow another antifreeze (not coolant) thread.....come on brothers and sisters, just stay away from it and fire from a distance. Look at it this way your skillz are improving because now you have to learn how to deal with the freeze. 

 

Why nobody crying about the firebird??? I hate it when I kill one and die anyway, especially when it takes like 5 seconds to die, but I deal with it and make the adjustments. I hate it when every smoky gets me with critical hit....again adjust your game. Rail blasting you sideways....well you get it right?

 

I read all the time about this weapon or that weapon is OP...well the guy kicking your behind with it prolly has mastered it. 

 

I ask you all to get a grip, stop complaining about OP weapons and  grow your skillz. 

 

I do not intend to offend any one, but please remember this is a GAME for FUN...don't take it so serious and learn to enjoy it a little more.

If you get beat up (happens to me all the time) get back up and find a way to WIN!!!!

Firebird isn't OP, because it's not annoying. Yeah, it burned you, get over it. Freeze is OP because it can slow down people. Burns are eh meh but cause huge damage, but damage is less annoying than lack of mobility.

You guys you guys, Freeze will become even more OP. Why? Faster hulls. They reach you so fast, how will you shoot them down  in time? Not really any skill. Circling an enemy is common sense. I used it as soon as I got Freeze. Yes, I was a Freeze user when I was a newbie. Like below Warrant Officer. So I do get how it works. . .

Eh. I guess everyone has their opinions. Just a matter of how easy it is for each person to use it. Say, for me when I first got Freeze. Circled and everything. So I automatically presumed it needed no skill- very easy to use in my opinion. Though to others it may be a bit harder. :huh:

Eh, no. It's weak unless defending or on drugs. Otherwise, it is just annoying.
