Hello dear Tankmen! Did you know that the first official German newspaper has been published? I am going to present to you the German Reporter team, and their first issue.

Summary of the interview : He has been here since the end of 2011. Since July 2012, he is in "Dare Devils". He just need 40k points to rank up. He plays CTF, DM and he loves Red Alert, Kungur and Station.

Position: Reporter

Summary of the interview: He has been playing for 2 1/2 years. He likes to play with fast tanks, and he usually plays CTF on Server 2 as he is a great team player. He doesn't have a preferred combo, but he likes Railgun. In real life, he is 15 years old and plays football. His big goal was to become a staff member, and now he is very happy to have become a reporter. He hopes Tanki will bring even more good updates.

Summary of the interview: She is Maria, comes from Germany, and she plays the Guitar. She is very happy to be a reporter because she loves writing, and she likes to work with other reporters.

Seite 8. In & Out Liste: KaramellBonBon wrote a list of the good and bad things in Tanki Online. Kinda interesting, and the picture is nice, but I find it a little bit too basic.

Summary of the interview: He is 16 years old, from Wien. He plays Tanki for a year. He plays piano and he loves that. He likes to write, for himself, for school, and now for Tanki Online too!

The Main Topic

 

Here.

It is very simple, but very effective: the Main Topic is clear and pleasant.

There is a preview of the Second Issue! It is great for the simple visitors, they will want to come back a month later.

After the pictures, there is a list of all the links. It is very helpful, because on some computers and phones, you can't see properly the MT.

The black on some pictures. It should have been saved as a PNG file, to have the transparent background.

The Titles
 

Their titles are different from ours. their template is "Page #. Title" while ours is "[issue #] Title". Both titles have advantages, and disadvantages.

German template

Easier to navigate between articles, you can just read #1 to #10 article straight away.

When they will have published several Issues, the archive section will be full of "Seite 2. ----" etc. It will be very confusing.

 

English template

In the overfilled Archive section, it is easier to see when the article has been written.

Mini-interviews

 

Are you happy with your first Issue?

tarnk: Oh yes. With our young reporter team it was a great thing to produce this first german "Tanki Zeitung". We recruited the reporter-team in the beginning of September and they made the Issue within around two weeks. And the reaction of the german community was great.

 

Kaiserphoenix: Of course I am! I love discussing topics with the other journalists, writing articles and receiving feedback after all. It gives you a certain feeling of satisfaction, when the newspaper is published and everyone can read your article. Aside from that the 'salary' isn't bad either! Just a bit of fun :D The pay is not that important for me.

 

RussianNikita: Yes, I am ! I didn't thought we would get so much nice and positive feedback from the German community. A lot of people saw and read our first Issue, which makes me really happy!

 

I3.A_I2.u.L.e.Z.z: Yes, I am really happy. We worked for a rather long time, we have collected information and writing articles! Well, after the publishing of the first Issue, it is a present for me.

 

Do you enjoy the paint and avatar ?

 

Kaiserphoenix: I really do! After the first newspaper was published, all the journalists, not just me, were raring to use the newpaper-paint. Since I've got it, I've played only with this special paint. The avatar is cool, too, but I prefer the paint.

 

 

What do you want to write in the future?

Kaiserphoenix : I don't have any specific type of text, I like most or least. What I need, when writing articles, is variety. It's absolutely necessary for writing with pleasure. This is what I want to write in future: all types of texts with many different topics.

 

RussianNikita: Stories, Interviews and all kind of creative stuff. For the second Issue we planned an interview with Kasim and Sun ! :P

I3.A_I2.u.L.e.Z.z: Yes, I am. It is very exciting ! I hope they will have a lot of things to say. I'm really lucky to interview them!

 

Do you want to hire more reporters?

 

tarnk: Yes, we need  some more reporters and looking for some new. It is easier to produce the newspaper with some more persons, so that it works also during school holidays.

My suggestion is writing more relevant or interesting articles... I mean, maybe it may be interesting for German people to see their review on their newspaper... but why would we English people care?
