Crystals at a fixed price!

Dear players!

For your convenience we are happy to announce that from now on all the crystals in Tanki Online will be sold at a fixed price of $1 for 1430 crystals. It means that prices will be constant and won’t fluctuate according to rates of world currencies like they did in the past. Moreover, the cost of crystals won’t change from one payment system to another. You no longer need to look for the cheapest way to get crystals, simply choose the one that is convenient for you personally. The only exclusions are SMS and mobile payments where crystals are still more expensive.

Earlier, the price of crystals fluctuated for two reasons. Firstly, its rate used to depend on Russian ruble. So the price was changing together with USD accordingly. Now, with a fixed rate of $1 per 1430 crystals, there won’t be any changes. Secondly, prices in different payment systems varied due to commissions that were partly paid by a player. We’ve managed to change that and pay all the fees ourselves, apart from commissions of SMS and mobile payments. Currently we are looking into the possibility of removing these ones as well.

As a result, crystals became cheaper in some payment systems. Take Paysafecard as an example, 15,000 crystals there used to cost $11, now it’s $10.49. At the same time, prices in other payment systems, like PayPal, have increased slightly. Unfortunately it is inevitable when we split dollars, euros and rubles. However, this decision eliminates the risk of crystal price’s uncontrolled growth in case of significant changes in world currencies’ rates.

Fixed price of crystals is not a temporary thing but a strategic decision on a permanent basis. Our aim is to make your game interesting and as comfortable as possible.

a M3 cost 286 000 crystal, means 200 hours of free game play to get a M3 free (2h per day in 3month), or $200 in real cash.
