I'm buying the m2 hull kit, not the medium m2. Plus I won't be able to buy It past lieutenant colonel, and I've got many other things I'm trying to save for at that rank....

M2 Hull kit is quite good. Highlights are hunter and viking m2. It would be better if they got rid of hornet and put a nice paint in though

Dear developers of Tanki Online....

 

I absolutely hate these kits. They are very unfair to the players who do not waste their money on this game. Those players who do not buy will have to face tanks like M2 mammoth and M2 ricochet that drug constantly at the rank of third lieutenant. Is that fair!? Players at the rank of first lieutenant could be facing players with M2s that are unlocked at lieutenant colonel. The higher ranked player should have the better tank, right? Apparently not. No, what makes the difference now is money and only money. Not rank, skill, rating, or any other factor. Anyone with half a working brain cell would know that kits are the worst thing to happen to happen to the poor players who have the decency to avoid spending money on this game. They won't stand a chance! So every time I see an M2 mammoth or viking on drugs under the rank of third lieutenant, I can't help but feel an enormous wave of rage and aggression toward you guys. I usually just quit the battle I'm in if a drugging kit buyer joins. And you guys said you were trying to make this game "balanced". HA! What a joke...this game is far from it. More crap "updates" like this will only deepen the abyss between fairness and disbalance.

 

Now think about this: If players like me who do not buy or drug reach a point of anger toward this horrible update and those who take advantage of it, those sed players will LEAVE THE GAME and your [to the the developers] game will lose popularity. Hmm....not exactly best for your company, is it? I'm pretty sure the players that buy are outnumbered by those who do not. When those players leave [the non buyers], the game will be mostly buyers and druggers. Sure, you developers will have money, but no game. If everyone drugged and bought kits, this game would become pretty boring and frustrating after a while. That is when the noob buyers will leave and this company will go down the toilet with potentially no players left to give their money or their time! Ker-flush! Did you guys really not see this coming? Hell, this game isn't my life. I can quit. I've got other things I can do. Maybe I can start playing World of tanks and see if that is any good...For those truly obsessed with Tanki, I feel sorry for.

 

So please, do what is best for the Tanki Online Company and its community: Obliterate these kits!

We all know this game is viwed at a financial stand point of view for Tanki. They make money off this game. So what? With support from the buyers you help make this game free and help develop it. Micro upgrades kit? A kit that costs __________ which micro upgrades every single thing you have to the maximum. Try to use it to the max (since the amount of crystals won't change) so get as many paints, trurets, and hulls as possible before you buy the kit.

Also it doesn't hurt to spend $35 on the game for a fair amount of crystals. You don't waste. You invest.

My point is that this is becoming an "buy or die" kind of game. At my rank I can't go a single battle without some kind of kit buyer. Its absolutely ridiculous. And 35$ is OK to spend I guess, but this is why I'm so mad at anyone who buys: I was in a battle with some noob who had clearly purchased multiple kits, as he had M2 mammoth and M2 thunder with urban (I think) paint. He said he spent 5000$ on this game! 5000 dollars!!!! THAT is wasting money. You have to admit that's pretty pathetic... I know that's his money and he can spend it how he wants and whatever, but this game isn't worth spending 5000 dollars on, is it!?

 

Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that the way the developers are making money is going to blow up in their faces eventually. I'm saying these kits are going to cause a chain reaction where a lot of players are going to leave the game, and the developers are going to lose their precious money. Besides, the developers aren't even trying to improve the game anymore. They are trying to make money by improving the more expensive hulls/turrets and making them OP. Impatient players will buy crystals immediately to upgrade the good stuff. And the developers will continue changing the kits and hulls' statistics and wrecking the previously good items and eventually wrecking those while making other items good again, to bring in more money. Its really pretty obvious. And why do you think the developers have so many sales on buying crystals but have so few sales on the actual hulls and turrets? To make money off of the buyers! Why are kits always 50% off? To encourage the buyers to spend money to buy the kits! The blacklist goes on and on, and so does the list of players that have spent 5000+ dollars on this game. And what do they do for us non buyers? Nothing really, a 25% sale on hulls and turrets and 50% on MUs. Woo-hoo. Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure there was a CRYSTAL BUYING SALE IN THERE TOO. Holy crap....I hope you see my purpose now. This game is becoming just a land of buyers who take advantage of a flaw by the developers. Yes, you could always buy, but a buyer back before these infernal kits could only have the same items as a non buyer at the same rank, so it could still be somewhat fair. Now the following can happen:

 

Let's say I'm a third lieutenant, OK? I would have to face M2 vikings and thunders that constantly drugged with a really good paint. My M1's would not stand a chance, even if I drugged back. This is all because of the kits. Hell, I could be the best M1 shaft user in the game and still not have a chance. Being so angry at the developers, I would probably quit the game, since with no "investments" I would have nothing to lose.

 

You see, a lot of lieutenants will go through a situation with a noob kit buyer who is ruining their battle. I'm sure they consider quitting this. Even as a major I went through this kind of situation (again) last night in stadium. I was having a good time with friends making a good battle fund and then a M2 viking kit buyer showed up. He drugged constantly and totally ruined the battle. This happens pretty commonly, as I'm seeing an equal number of M2 vikings with prodigy paint as M2 hornets. 

 

Now then, is that enough reasons and points for you, dragonssk1? Oh, and FYI: 35$ isn't going to get you enough crystals to buy a kit! Most buyers these days buy kits, so they have to spend more than that!

But the fact is the BUY crystals with real money. So BUYer comes from that. But you could say whatever you would like. But I don't think Era Nation is trying to say stop buying or anything, he/she is only saying that those ktis are too strong and will make people rage quit. Remember those days were there were no kits? A  BUYING WO4 could have all the M1'S and paints and a drug kit but a non-buying player of the same rank could have 1 M1 combo and good paint with some drugs and beat him. That would be fair. M1VSM1. Not like M2 VS M1.  It's not how much they buy but what they buy.

I understand that this game needs money to keep working. I've heard that one before many times. 

 

What I said in the first place was that this system of kits that the game uses to make its money is going to fail the developers eventually because annoyed players will leave the game. When that happens, the game will get boring and the kit buyers will leave. Then there will be almost no players that are in this, so the game will have a lot less income and popularity. So, according to my theory, the buyers will actually help end this game. This is the point I have been trying to make in the first place.

 

There are better ways the game can make its money, I know the developers are capable of coming up with something...

I don't think someone goes into the buying section with a credit card in hand thinking 'I'm going to support this game and give them 30 bucks'. No they go in there saying 'When I get my crystals, I can get a good kit and rule my battles!'. You don't really invest as in trade money for crystals. It would be investing your money to put it in the game and get like 50 bucks back from that 35. But yet again you are kinda investing but not in my matter in which you said so. And you are wasting money when you buy. You give Tanki $35 of your hard worked money and you get some in game currency. In real life, when it comes to things, you can see the 150k crystals you put in the game, it's just gone in the game. You could of used that money to buy something to eat and keep you alive to play the game. If you ordered a shoe online, you will get it in the mail, and that wouldn't be wasting it..

Entertainment is something people use money on, just as much as other things. If the money is used for their entertainment, they don't think it's a waste. So... even though there are many kit buyers, I will become one too, since I've saved for a few months now.
