I got it on alt. It's great vs nub low ranks, but as soon as I get to play vs WO5 and higher, it has some disadvantages.

Hunter is often not fast enough to get in isidas range. That makes isida not able to use in full power. With any single drug it becomes unbeatable, with full use there is a chance you won't even die for very long time. Worst opponent is another osaka or random other drugging M2. I like more mid-long range guns :D Got 82k there now, maybe will buy sth new :D Maybe 2nd boar kit :lol:

I dont think so. Even with M3 Jackhammer you can effectively use it till Field Marshal, since heavy hulls will unlock later. And after that rank maybe you can have enough crystals to buy some better kit.

Or maybe not. I saw in "What to buy? Which is better?" topic that she is interested in Redneck and Cardinal kit. And till then Jackhammer will be the best choice.

Jackhammer is a great kit for Polygon, assuming you buy like I did as soon as you make Brigadier.

 

But at M4? Not sure... Depends I guess on how quickly you can get your equipment upgraded versus ranking up. Hammer and Viking are early M3s, meaning later M3 equipment is better. I suspect that unless you buy lots of crystals and get to M4 on this kit at Brigadier or Major General, you'll find other M3 equipment gets the best of you.

 

Of the M3 kits I've used or experienced:

Jackhammer beats Raiden.

Medic beats Jackhammer. ALWAYS

Medic beats Raiden. At close range.

Jackhammer beats Refrigerator.

Jackhammer against Jackhammer is an exercise in frustration due to the high Hammer protection of the Tiger paint. You both exhaust your clip and stare stupidly at each other for a mind-numbing six seconds.

 

Your mileage may vary.

The problem with Hammer is dealing with Multiple enemies. I can shoot into the pit at Polygon with it, but the shots are dispersed, so the damage is divided too much... It's good with one single enemy or light/medium hulls. With heavies, it's hard to deal with. 3 shots even with M4 Hammer cannot deal with them unless drugged. I could save/make it M4 as a final goal... Problem is whether is it worth the trouble or not.

 

But I like the reload. It's fast compared to Thunder, but slower than smoky.

Fatty needs a good team to operate, it cannot go in alone at times. It has to decide whether to use Zeus or Africa. If too many Africa, it means you cannot kill much. But if few use Africa, no problem, it will be quite strong.

I have seen quite a few M3 Hammers, but they usually come in Middle,sometimes bottom.... :mellow:

This is why I'm a little hesitant. It's a "Good, but....." kind of decision.
