What is happening to the product kits? New set just came in, and it's set for only 7 days. Does this mean sale is in the next 7 days?

I'm afraid, they decided not to give us discount on kits :( I may be wrong tho.

Seems like not, v-log is out, all these kits will be in garage during sale (they will expire the day after turret sale). (so just choose if you want to buy it during paint + hull or hull + turret).

There are no sales on kits since they are already discounted. Instead, any sales for the component parts (hull, turret, paint) will be applied and the total price will be lowered accordingly. If you want to buy a kit during the sales, wait until the most expensive component of the kit is on sale.

 

For example, imagine I wanted to buy a kit with M3 Viking, M3 Shaft, and Lumberjack (FYI, this kit doesn't actually exist). Lumberjack paint is the most expensive piece of equipment in the kit, more so than M3 Viking and Shaft. So, if I wanted to get the greatest possible discount, I would wait until the paints went on sale. A sizable chunk of Lumberjack's price would be slashed off, and I would pay less for it than I would have if I bought it on the hull or turret sale since 25% of Lumberjack's price is larger than 25% of M3 Viking/Shaft's price.

And a guide, how to calculate price of kits for this sale.
Kit containing shaft M3, viking M3 and prodigi with 35% disc (to make it harder).
Viking + redneck is more expensive than rico + vik. So choose paint + hull sale day. (Vik price is V, redneck is R, Y is kit's discount => 35%=0.35) ("kit price") - (V+R)*(1 - Y)*(0.25).
Let's do it for real, existing kit, available during sale.

 

In this case, turret + hull sale saves you more.

152 100 - (89 200+81 800)*(1-0.4)*(0.25)=

152 100 - (171 000)*(0.6)*(0.25)=

152 100 - 25 650 = 126 450

PS2: Official announcement for this event says, that those sales lasts 1 day each and so, there won't be paint  + hull (hull + turret) sale in one day. However, v-log says something else. I don't know, how it will be, but I believe v-log. (cuz ;pnger sale :lol:)

There will be 2 sales on 1 day, but not at the same time. The first sale will stop at 2:00 UTC, and then the next sale will start. So, technically, you have 2 sales on 1 day.

I have a WO3 which only has two M1 - Titan and Shaft (the other stuff it has are M0s), and I'm planning to buy M1 Vulcan and M1 Viking for it.

since Firebird protection is always good for Vulcan users, I thought -

why not buy the Striker kit to get both the M1 Viking and Swash (has Firebird protection) and get M1 Smoky for free?

not to mention the fact that the whole kit will cost less than the Swash paint alone during the paint discount.

 

and the answer to that question I thought of, is -

because of the rule stated above, buying Striker kit is not even an option.

 

so please, explain to me the reason for this rule regarding kits.

 

in my opinion, they should cut part of that and only keep the part that makes sense -

Yea, I understood it, but v-log made things confusing, they have never announced anything this way.

I have no idea, why it is so, ask developers, I'm just a players with interest in kits providing you with information about kits :)

which doesn't make sense, because kits come with discount and are cycled around.

not to mention the fact that kits have a huge chunk of discount with them and discounts from events stack with it.

I think that rule was placed because of the old OP kits (so that only buyers can buy them) and because we used to have -50% discount all the time (beats most of the kit's discount) - in other words, its an outdated rule that needs to be removed.

 

I don't see why WO5s would not be allowed to enjoy things like the Fighter kit especially when they bought other M1s early on causing them to not have the crystals up until after WO4.

 

also, as I said, my WO3 wants that Striker kit.
