You answered your own question. It's harder to accumulate so much crystals for a kit, so it make people buy more :P (or buy just a bit). Later, among higher ranks, it's easier to earn the needed sum, and so it would leave players easy way to get them. You will often face things, which are not awesome for you, but a must for TO to survive.

the rule penalizes ranking up - what's up with that?

 

they won't buy more if they are not allowed to do so, which is what the rule does.

 

I don't see the logic there.

I don't see the logic behind locking players out of kits just because they are "too high ranked" for it, period.

since when did games give you less options for having a higher rank?

 

why not allow Generalissimos to buy M0s for "Collector" achievement?

I feel for ya both - I've confused Redneck, Red Suit, and Lumberjack many times.

 

Related note, I bought Minotaur on my braxton_walker alt today. Very good but M2 Twins is not as OP as I thought it would be. King of Polygon and Noise though. Not the greatest in Rio unless you camp on the roof. And Rhino is just a useless paint. Might buy a cheap paint like Storm when the sale comes.

Hi guys. I need some advice. I want to buy Firewall kit, and I also would love to buy it on sale. A 25% sale on the most expensive piece of equipment in the kit, Hohloma paint, will bring the price of the kit down ~16k crystals or so. But here's the thing. I won't be able to rank up to second lieutenant in time to get the kit on sale. So should I just buy the kit full price when it next goes on sale? I am thinking that the extra crystals that I will earn during the increased battle fund days will help in offsetting the crystals that I won't be saving. Additionally, the discounts on all kits are pretty steep at any rate, being 40% on Firewall and most other kits. So to wrap up this lengthy post, is it worth it to get Firewall kit full price?

I wanted the Striker kit (Viking and Swash, don't care about Smoky M1) for my WO3 account, not this one.

 

also, there are only three M2 hulls available at third lieutenant (one rank above WO5), all of which only available through kit, one of them is not even available at the moment - M2 Hunter from Pitbull kit.

 

anyway, I wouldn't have ranked past it if the previous kits didn't take the entire month before expiring.

that's a long time away, even if all you do everyday are your daily missions, I'm guessing you will be WO5 if not higher by then.

 

I started playing my very low rank alt accounts just last month yet they are already WO1s, one of them is even WO3 (don't really know how it ranked so fast compared to the others) I only played them for daily missions, and if I have the time and the daily mission rewarded premium time, I played for a few more battles (definitely not the full 3 hours).

 

I see you have Fighter kit though, were you a WO2 or below, I would suggest Striker kit for the Viking M1 and Swash paint. but still, Viking M1 is cheap so even if its just 25% off, you might want to consider buying it. having a Medium Hull option is always nice.

So on my sub account I have already bought m2 smoky but the huntsman kit's price isn't reduced as they should, the price of the kit is 213,455 crystals and it's still 213,455 for me? Isn't it suppose to remove the cost for smoky m2 since I already own it? Thank you.

Yes, the standard 40% off is good. Just remember that you want to get it while you are Second Lieutenant. If the kit is not available and you get close to ranking to First Lieutenant slow down your game play until the kit comes back. If you do rank to First Lieutenant maybe look at Minotaur or Atlas at Captain. You will have missed the ranks at which Firewall is its most OP

I just bought Predator kit on the account that has been using Lizard kit (along with other turrets and hulls it got from the low rank kits).

 

 

anyway, question relating to kits:

can a WO3 account with no crystals at all, collect enough crystals to buy Vesivius kit at 1st Lieutenant?

and since Atlas kit unlocks at the rank after that (Captain), around what rank will it be able to buy it?

 

 

 

I ask because there is another option I can think of, but it will not include getting a Viking M2 (so I don't like it much), which is:

get Vulcan M2 at 2nd Lieutenant (still using Viking/Titan M1), then get Atlas at Captain.

 

I'm confident with my ability to get a good amount of crystals per rank because of the daily missions and because I've already topped scoreboards with Vulcan M0 at Sergeant Major.

Yes. You can save enough to buy 2 kits if your that good.

as for your question, I saw in another thread that you were recommended getting Vesivius.

in my opinion, Vulcan requires a Heavy hull. its definitely playable with a Medium hull, but as you can tell from my previous post, I aim to have both Viking and Titan M2 (along with Loam for Firebird protection since Vulcan requires overheating a lot) for my Vulcan account - in other words, I don't recommend it. Atlas is good though.

O_O I already bought tornado a while back so I have rail m2..... so yeah.
