So overall it's better to wait for a PD, and sometimes better to buy things full price. Kits are becoming obsolete with the paint update.

All tanki needs to do is put protection modules in kits instead of paints.

Kits are not considered essential to the game. Thus their pricing has always been high, even with attractive discounts. Early unlock of items has also always been a nice to have, not an essential part of the game.

 

The new normal is that protection modules have value. Paints also have value, presumably based on how much a player is willing to pay for a skin.

 

Kits have always been a combination of every dimension available for purchase. Turret, Hull, and Paint (bonus supplies). Splitting paint into appearance and protection doesn't change that aspect of a kit.

 

Thus I expect new kits to be Hull Turret, Paint, and Protection. Prices will go up. A lot.

yeah many kits are now at sale for just 15%.

instead of 40-50% sale.and have useless paints with lot of prices with no protection.IMO it is no use of buying a kit now.

The next rotation of kits will feature a new re-worked design and will change. This was clarified by our Community Manager.

They are at 15% discounts so as to maintain the same price as before the update.
