Which m3 kit is the best in popular maps like Rio and Noise?

For Noise... one with Firebird or Freeze or Hammer or Ricco

For Rio - almost any turret can do well there. Depends on if you like to camp or capture.

Hi guys

just asking...

if the m3 kits are becoming available from lt general, will there be any m2/m3 kits, like bulldozer or ant?

i think they removed them.. :/

and if anyone knows anything about them, at what rank will they become available?

If you have not noticed, the kits in the "buy" section are not discounted 50% or whatever... It's cheaper to buy crystals with a DCC then buy it in the garage if you're patient enough

That's why the kits rotate. :P Tanki wants you to buy more.

They are not shown in Shop, nor in garage - so I guess, they are removed (as all M3 kits are now available from Lieutenant General, and M2/M3 kit is not worth to buy at that rank.). I have no info about this thought.

i was not going to get those kits or something :P but just asked, since before they were in the shop.... i think they remved them nevermind

What do you guys think about juggler and firewall??

note: i mostly play Poly CP, but when i get a place i also play noise, rio and kungur (dm or ctf)

yes, i do want to buy them, but i want to see some pros or contras before buying one of those

Buying product sets doesn't make much sense to me anymore, mainly because of the extreme prices for the worthless paints. The set "Prometheus" for example (232k M3 firebird + 200k M3 Hunter + 250k Badger T-F M3 + 500k Zeus paint) has a 60% discount tag, but in fact it is only 31 %, if I ignore the worthless paint. The range of other selectable sets gets significantly further narrowed, because I already have M3 Wiking. So it's better to save up crystals and wait for a 40% or 50% discount on weapons (maybe on Christmas).

Was Prometheus available before the update?  Best to compare kit prices now vs what they were before the update.

I think some went up a bit and some went down. I think in many cases the kit is discounted enough (even including paint) to make it close to pre-balance prices.

Also -  the module protection - in some cases it is better. Overall protection is 35x3 = 105%. Most of the high ones had 100% or less.

  • Prometheus was available before the paint/module separation update (afaik).
  • Ok, but what does it help to compare it to old prices? I cannot buy for the old prices, so I have to decide if a kit or a single item is more efficient. So in this case it shows, that even if I bring up a huge crys sum for a kit, it is not as efficient as buying single items (as long as I know for sure, I won't buy paints for (nearly) half a million crys, which I am).
  • I estimate that, most of the kits have a higher absolute price than before (+8 to +12%). I can't recall, if I have seen a kit yet, that was lower after the update.
  • I know, that the relative discount tag is sometimes now higher for kits than before the update. The kits often have very expensive paints in them now and it happens to be those kits with equipment that could only be accessed very late in the game in the past. However, in general the higher prices of the paints still have a higher weight than the higher discount tags on the kit's price.
  • Yes, the module protection offer a higher standard amounts of protection % (105). On the one side, the update made it a bit cheaper to get i.e. in sum 100 % protection, but on the other side 100 % protection is more valuable, if it's spread among protections against more different turrets (4 instead of 3).

For second bullet I just meant that having the Paints & Modules included did not necessarily increase the price of the Kit.

I believe they increased the discount to offset the extra item included. May have not worked out for the better in all cases, but sometimes it did.

Best thing to do is work out price of turret & hull (and module if it is one you would want).

Compare that to buying the items on their own. Don't add paint cost to this as you likely would not buy it on it's own.

If cost is close you need to weigh two more factors...

- The pain of basically using what you have for a number of ranks to be able to buy kit. You will not improve much (if at all) during this time

- The benefit of getting the Kit equipment earlier than normal - unlock for kits should be two levels better than unlock of items separately.

- Oh - and you get ~ 100 supplies kit bonus.

Yeah, right. Oh yes I forgot the drug bonus for kits, well that's quite a plus.

"Paladin"

346 260 Crystal.pngPaladinkit.png From 22px-IconsNormal_25.png Lieutenant General

to 22px-IconsNormal_27.png Marshal Hulls: Viking M3

Turrets: Smoky M3

Paint: Inferno

Module: Badger T-F M3

You have to click on "Current Product Kits" to let it pop up the list. It might be, that some of the product kits in the wiki need to be updated tho.

^ Kits change every week on Thursdays!

Btw, I agree with Tani_S, buying kits is proving to be a stumbling block especially because of the high paint prices like Emerald, Irbis, Africa. The best bet would be to wait for a 50% discount on such expensive paints and together with a 50% or higher discount on the kit, you can get it really cheap!
