Oh by the way, I desperately need a m2 kit for playing non-format battles. Preferably one that's not too expensive (I have 120k crystals now) and one that has Viking m2, as it's the best hull for public battles. Which one would you higher ranked guys recommend?

I got great use out of Minotaur. I have a friend who got Annihilator (with crystals), and he liked it, so that one's solid as well. Edited May 16, 2018 by DragonOfStorms

I recommend Northerner. Smoky M2 is a good generalist and the protection module is nice too, 25% Thunder protection.

Any thoughts on raider? I saw a guy in a public ctf who went 53 and 0 with it... although it probably takes more skill than it looks like.

too hard to use, the other team might have been noobs and with striker DD it 2 shots any hull at my rank

Twins' range is garbage, it's very impractical if you want to play in anything except polygon or highland... that's why I'm leaning towards the notherner kit with smoky, because, 1 it is ungodly at m2, 2 it's more versatile,  3 I'm used to playing with rail wich a has a somewhat similar playstyle, 4 it can potentially 1 shot a m2 hornet which is the most common m2 hull.

Maybe, but nowadays every other Twins user equips the long range alteration and removes pretty much the turret's only drawback.

They equip stable plasma the most... Twins range is pretty good although damage is bad

Clearly you haven't met many supply-using twins.

Its the most OP turret with supplies.

Only way out is protection.

The Destroyer Kit should be renamed to Troll Kit because that is all I see it is being used for.

Wait Nvm, I thought it was 'raider' that you were talking about. It's good as a starter kit, you can start with it, but there are too much protections against it, so you have to buy another turret.

Now that i think about it, when i watch Ghost Animator's m2 kits video, Minotaur is first. However, on the comments section, anhiliator and northener is both said as first. What do you think of it?

thunder won't remain very effective beyond brigadier, because of protections, but twins will remain OP.

I believe a few kits were Cosmonaut and Vandal for the M3 Tier. The rest I don't know sorry.
