Hi, so I recently started to play again and I am wo3, currently have 60k crystals and no kits bought, at the moment I think it's useless to buy a full M1 kit since I already start facing M2s, I was thinking about going straight to M2 kits, which means playing until wo5 with Viking and Fire which is uhh a mediocre combo but it works decent. Was thinking of buying either Voltage kit or maybe Boar (yes I want a dictator) now, the idea is that I'm looking at Voltage because it's cheap and I think it's also decent, but Railgun might not be very helpful in ''everyday-battles'' and i don't really intend to play xp/bp much, and Boar has Rico which can fit in both close combat and long range. Any other opinions? 
Not really looking into m1/m2 kits like osaka and siberian because they're pretty expensive and I don't think they can last long enough so i can make crystals for another m2 kit. thanks in advance!

Kits are an excellent system. Since I use only railgun, I can't help much since you don't want it, but if you can afford it, a full-M2 kit with rico is good as, like you said, it is perfectly optimized for short and medium-long ranged battles. Just takes a bit of practice.

yeah, my aim is to have the crystals for the kit at WO5, maximum next rank (don't know its name :v ) now i dont say that i dont want the railgun at all, it s awesome, just that i m not a railgun focused player so it will take some practice and the disadvantage of small range. i feel boar is more balanced than voltage, that's it

if i am going to make crystals at the rate i currently am, i think it's not going to be very hard to get the kit at wo5

(or if i get lucky and get more than 3.5k crystals out of a container  :ph34r: )

Fire mediocre?  :o  M1 has been available for ~ 5 ranks, so you have had time to MU it. M2 Fire is OP, so every MU you put into m1 will give you good increases.

 

You are correct when you say it's useless to buy an m1 kit now.  You are too close to m2 items to make that worthwhile.

 

Going for Dictator now is a bit of duplication as you already have Viking.  Viking is better for Fire than dictator because of the speed. But if you don't plan on continuing with fire then go with what you like.

 

Riccco is decent turret, but you can't consider it long-range - especially after the recent "balancing" (read nerf).  It is short-range to medium range. Equipping the MFS alteration places it at the far end of medium - but Thunder, rail, smoky, magnum, shaft will all destroy Ricco at "long range".

 

Trying to buy 2 m2 kits is pretty optimistic.  You are paying for paints you don't really need, and often the kits are not available when you need them. But if you insist, make sure the kits have modules you want so at least 3 components are useful. Again - don't buy two kits that duplicate things like medium hulls.

let's start with the beginning. i decided not to MU fire because if i ever MU then i also get carried away with speeding up, so decided to stay safe, i'm looking to get dictator because it is higher and ofc better gold chance xd, but i ve had it before and my opinion is that it s an overall good hull

 

i really am not up to date with the current balance updates since i ve been playing for 1 week now, i guess i will read about it now that you told me

and uhh i really dont know if i am going to buy any alterations..

 

if i am going to buy 2 kits, they're going to be one of these, and a later one containing either fire m2 or twins m2 (firewall, ram/minotaur), the problem here being the fact that both of these hulls are considered as medium, and this contradicts with what you said.

 

modules are an important factor as well, really didnt take notice until now. i will check and see what each module offers protection to.

But all of a sudden - they have dissapeared from the garage. They were here yesterday, I swear. I doubt this will be a permanent change, since it was not announced in any way, but this is so dissapointing...

as far as i can remember from last week, i think there s a few hours with no kits, before they refresh. ik, pretty frustrating and they could just add in the new kits at the server restart, and keep the old ones until the server restart. idk, devs decide that :v

Quite true, I discovered this myself quite recently. New kits will come after prev. offer ends within 6-24 hours. Gosh, If I was at your rank with your crystals, I would've got my dream kit- Legend Kit:

Yes there's nothing wrong at all with using it frequently, but also trying a different turret can help when the map you're playing in doesn't work well with railgun or when everyone has the module for it.

 

That's what I do in battles where rail just doesn't seem to do it for me.

I don't think the difference in price is very worth it. FIrewall is clearly a stronger combo and I think overall it's more balanced.. what are your M2 weapons since you say you already have Vik and Hornet M2?

Something happened recently, without tanki talking anything about it. Product kits are available to buyers before non-buyers.  Brigadier can buy m3 kit with real money? Srsly? Isn´t that pretty unfair. Hardcore buyers can get m4 at brigadier....
