I just realised product kits haven't had paints as part of the set for a while now... also, they're unbalanced because buyers can get the next modification at a GREATER discount (-30% as opposed to -15% for kits purchasable for crystals).

I don't think that is a problem because 5390 Tankoins for a Mk7 kit in the showcase is a lot more than 382,500 crystals regardless of discounts

I don't think you would need many battle passes to acquire 382,500 crystals, even if you played casually and didn't finish the challenges

(you can buy crystals for Tankoins, but the conversion rate is robbery and you'd have to be desperate, stupid, or both)

The big imbalance with product kits is the early access for buyers; they can get Mk7 kits at rank 21 for Tankoins instead of waiting until rank 25 to buy them for crystals (plus waiting for a kit you want to appear in your showcase)

1 year passed since this and there won't be paint in production kits because you can buy them also they don't increases GS

Honestly, kits are useless nowdays.

 

The crystal kits only provide like a measly 15% discount. I can get way better deals when Tanki does a 30-50% sale once a month and just buy the equipment separately.

 

And I doubt anyone here is gonna spend 5390 - 7700 Tankcoins on a Mk7 kit. Would you rather buy one of those kits or would you spend your tankcoins on, I don't know, 10 to 15 Battle Passes?

Kits for crystals are only worth buying if you don't have the previous modifications for any of the items in the kit.

I think this is true most of the time, and I don't think owning one of the items in a kit is that much of a negative because (at Mk7 anyway) you still get the other two items at 50% off (which is useful because there are no 50% sales between January and June)

Also depends on how quickly you rank up, so I bought a Mk7 Hunter / Smoky / Dolphin kit when I got to Lieutenant General on this account (was one of the first to appear, luckily) because I knew I could upgrade it to Mk7 20/20 before I got to Marshall or very soon afterwards, even though I already had Smoky and Hunter at Mk 6/10

@Tanker-Arthur 

I think some buyers will spend that many TK at Lieutenant Colonel just to gain the advantage over F2P, even with XP boost / faster ranking

Instead of buying Kits from the Shop, you can save up Crystals and buy your favorite combination with Crystals during bigger Sales!

You don't need to wait until your Kit comes in the Shop. It's easier to calculate and save up a lot of Crystals for your Perfect Tank.

Plus, the Kits in the Shop cost Tankoins.

So buying with Crystals during Sales is much better!

Where can i buy the normal product kits (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSKXXC3ghHk) with crystals ? The only kits i can find are in the shop but cost tank coins and dont have paints. Were they removed and if so is there any other way to buy these new paintless kits with crystals ? thanks

They have been removed recently, but should have a comeback with planned ´´contracts system´´, which should come with the second part of the interface update.

We don´t have much more info than that at the moment.
