Depends. Most kits don 't have a 50% discount like the good yearly 50% discounts like on Tankers day.

 

The benefits of a kit are that you can get your favourite equipment (combo) instantly and

even more a benefit: you can get higher rank unlocking equipment on a lower rank.

Do take care though about the included paint.

Better read the Forum (many great articles in the Press section) if a paint is considered worthy or not.

 

Having higer rank equipment on a lower rank translates into an advantage on the battlefield,

that should pay off in gaining more crystals.

 

There is no maths for this AFAIK, so in the end it again comes down to making a decision for yourself.

Produkt kits should have a slight advantage of one, max. two ranks.

Otherwise you could just as well remove them.

I fully agree with you that Paints should not be added to product kits to keep them more

The paints in the kits are chosen specifically to increase the value of the entire kit. Think about it: Picasso in the Cardinal kit. That paint is near 300k unchecked, amassing for a lot of its price. (This isn't the best example, however, as Twins and Titan M3 are also rather expensive.)

 

A better example would be the Legend kit. Alright, so it has M3 Railgun and M3 Hornet. Both, when totaled, add up to maybe a bit under 400k. For a collection of M3s, this isn't all that bad.

 

And then there's Prodigi.

 

Prodigi is a great long ranged paint, don't get me wrong, but the price is exorbitant. It costs well over 200k to buy this paint alone. With the kit unlocked at Major General, there's a lot of cheaper paints they could have used. It's a marketing ploy. (However, some could consider it a symbiotic Tanki to player relationship...)

I got the paint-less version and it was great for me ;)

Payed just like 20k for mammy, which I dont consider at all :D

I was talking about kits in general. Many low- to medium rank kits contain much less useful paints unlike

the superb Picasso and Prodigi you mention.

Ofcourse I agree those are two great paints.

 

At those low- to medium rank kits players should better focus on equipment, micro-upgrades and a lot

less about getting an intermediate paint.

If they have a paint like Tundra, Corrosion or whatever that still does a good job

than you don 't need these in time unused produkt kit paints in your garage.

I guess :P, then after a while I discard it and go Dictator M2+. It was fun using it from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel, but after a while I got tired of the slowness. It also was a challenge using against higher ranks.

Bought it, too! :D I've never used Mammoth so far, but it was great to get thunder, you know. :D
