Why do you guys keep writing articles?

... Already the 4th day and most of the articles have less than 100 views. Many of the contests have more views than the stories which I find funny.

Tbh, I don't read the stories cuz it's too long and boring.

 

LoooL - and you applied to be a reporter. Again, all of you haters who have had recent difficulties, keep your bitterness and anger somewhere else.

Well, they are allowed to voice their opinions, Conan; that's one of the purposes of this forum. Granted, they could've said it nicer than it did.

Yes, but it's interesting how quickly one's opinion can change due to circumstance. A contest could seem really cool when you enter it, and then suddenly seem rubbish or unfair if you don't win, for example. Often, those who are most vocally critical have selfish reasons to be so.

Yes, but it's interesting how quickly one's opinion can change sue to circumstance. A contest could seem really cool when you enter it, and then suddenly seem rubbish or unfair if you don't win, for example.

Eragon's a prime example of that. 

You can tell who acts like that if they don't give a balanced opinion (pros and cons) or in other words, a controversial opinion.

From what I know, the number of readers will soon increase dramatically due to planned changes to the newspaper.

That is not why reporters apply for jobs!

I would like to be staff, and i can prove that i don't need the crystals, so when i get the job, the staff don't need to pay me i am free! :P

Exactly, that was what I was arguing a few months ago. I opposed the idea that staff jobs are paid in crystals. The Tanki Community need people like you, people who will VOLUNTEER for a job and deny pay. This shows true commitment, and not some excuse of having pay as motivation. My theory is that if Tanki stops pay for staff members, most of them will quit... of course in excuses such as "I am very busy now, I must quit my job." Good for you eragon. I like your commitment :)

From what it sounds like, k77 is hating on all the articles because he didn't get an opening.

Dude, at least give constructive criticism; all this "oh, the contests have more views than the articles" is irrelevant.

@RAp I am 15 years old, in the 9th grade, taking already 1 AP class (Calculus AB), and a straight A student :) I am trying my best to get into MIT :)

When I say that the contests have more views than the articles, it is telling that the articles are insignificant. There are arround 100 people who view the articles... many of who do not read the whole article (like me).

I do not care if I got an opening... I did not even write a story for the application. I just put my SAT essays (both recieved a 6) in... took arround 30 seconds to copy and paste my essay to the application form :P

your garage analysis was well done... it's interesting but serves no use for tankers now since the past is the past.
