Did an interview, and did a history article. By no means would I class any of those anything close to a story.

Raphael, your article was excellent, one of the best this issue.

 

Same goes to your joint Behind the Breaking News article, hog, quite hilarious :P

 

I also thought Fjel's article was great. Those are my three highlights from this issue, really, though aojsd and bdeck certainly deserve a mention.

 

Generally, other articles were good, with some mediocre-ish ones and one poor example.

What ones were mediocre? I can guess which one you thought was poor.

Well, basically the ones in this issue I read and forgot about soon after. You know, non-memorable sort of articles on traditional subjects, with writing of a good standard, but not very original in concept.

I'm just asking why you people keep writing articles if less than 1% of the English community reads it. (I think it's a lot less than 1%)

guys the whole reason barely anybody is reading the newspaper is because NO ONE KNOWS IT IS THERE, you stopped putting the link for the newest issue on the news section of the home page and all of a sudden only the ones who are looking every few weeks for the new one,(like me) are noticing them.

That's only for reporters. I also tried that but, instead of photos, it was a story. I consulted @loktinho for that and he replied, "I'm sorry, that's for reporters only."

That's simply the deadline - writing that the contest is now closed isn't going to kill you. Besides, it saves you from invalid PMs.

And that means I can't make a suggestion for it? - Use your common sense. I never said he had to do it or anything like that; all I did was post the advantages of the suggestion. To be honest, I don't care if he does it or not but I still feel it's useful.
