Standalone flash player

Will the standalone flash player increase FPS and let me play on higher settings? Currently, I play Tanki in Safari, but I can't play fullscreen/settings on without my computer overheating. Also, before I play, I have to clear my cache and delete all cookes (except the tankionline.com one). I would like people who actually play Tanki off of the standalone flash player to tell me if it will boost my game settings or not.

Just use Google Chrome in incognito mode, it auto updates Flash and you don't have to go clearing cache and cookies. For the first couple seconds after joining a game it lags but then it works perfectly for me. If this doesn't work, I heard that MyTank is a standalone program for Tanki, I never tried it out but hey, it's an option :D

Just use Google Chrome in incognito mode, it auto updates Flash and you don't have to go clearing cache and cookies. For the first couple seconds after joining a game it lags but then it works perfectly for me. If this doesn't work, I heard that MyTank is a standalone program for Tanki, I never tried it out but hey, it's an option :D

@dcflipper: If you have trouble getting a good FPS, the standalone flash player is 100% the answer. It is so awesome!!! I can now play fullscreen with almost no overheating. No wifi lag either - I can play on server 1 with almost no lag :D:D

how do i get it and how do i get tanki on it though? sorry if this is a stupid question..
