Can you get banned for a PM?

Are PMs subject to forum rules? I heard that got banned for a day for criticising a mod through PMs, so I just want to know if I should be careful about what I say in private now, too, in case my PMs are being watched and subjected to forum rules.

(EDIT) A mod insulted me through Skype. Can I report him for doing so?

As of my knowledge,no one can see your private messages by default.But there are chances that they can track your PM by adding a piece of software called hook(technical).

 

And yes criticizing any one,may be a moderator or a common player anywhere(valid in chat and forum of tanki online) is a punishable offence.

Anywhere? But I got insulted through Skype, and the mod who did it didn't get in trouble  :wacko:

And Mr. Kirov will listen to us? We're just common players, to be ignored if we criticise the game, I thought? That's why @GoldRock was fired, at least  ^_^

Well if you read the Game Rules You will find that 

 

The following activities are not permitted in chat or the game forum:
- using insults and threats;

 

and then if you read a bit below

 

2.15. - Private messages (PM) are an integral part of the forum.

 

So yes you will be banned for insulting in PM.
