Find Your Time Zone!

You know when there will be an update in the game, and on the main page, it says "servers will be closed from (e.g.) 3:00 AM UTC to 5:00 AM UTC"?  Doesn't it get annoying, that you don't know what time it would be in your city's time?  Well, using this time zone map, you can find the time zone of your area.  Just simply move your cursor over your city, and whatever time zone your city is in, will turn grey!

 This is how it works.  For example, if your time zone is -3 hours UTC, that means it is 3 hours behind UTC 0.  So, if an update were to happen at 5:00 AM UTC 0, it would happen at 2:00 AM in your city.  Another example:  If your time zone is +3 hours UTC, that means it is 3 hours ahead UTC 0.  In this case, if an update were to happen at 5:00 AM UTC 0, it would happen at 8:00 AM in your city.

If the map doesn't show your city, then you can try using the site's "Time Zone converter".  It's a bit harder to use, but it works.

It's be better to Google the time zones. According to that, count the time from your clock yourself. Or, just use the time zone converters to convert it. Anyways, I prefer to Google the time zone and then count the time according to my time zone. :)

Ok, thanks for your opinion.  Many players actually don't think of using Google Search to find their time zones.  They also don't quite understand time zones, so this topic has instructions on how to understand them. :)

As for me, I live in Sydney Nova Scotia, Canada.  My time is -3 hours UTC.  However, some cities have a daylight saving time.  My city is one of those.  What happens is the time will fall back 1 hour in November, making my city -4 hours UTC.  It will be back at -3 hours UTC in the spring.

Toronto Ontario is -4 hours UTC at the moment.  It will be -5 hours UTC when the daylight saving time changes.  Toronto's time is 1 hour behind Nova Scotia's time.
