Generalissimo Eliteists

Recommended Posts

I'm not saying Generalissimos are eliteist, but the ones that are sure can be annoying.

Earlier today I decided to join a high ranked battle, mustly just for the fun of it, I joined a 20v20 CTF, so that the large amount of players would cause me to least get in the way of the other players, I brought only upgraded battle equipment and played my best. Now, at my rank I'm not exactly a newbie, but by what happened next, you wouldn't know that.

Much of both teams was drugged, so it was hard to kill anyone, but I launched a railgun round at anyone I could when the opportunity presented itself, even helping stop people from running off with our flag, but I received some surprising chat messages, the ones that were in the only language which I could understand, english, were "pick up crumbs" and "lasershark get out". I received some russian comments beginning with "lasershark", but I didn't bother translating, they probably weren't worth translating anyways.

Eventually I was voted out of the battle, I suspect not for any other reason but not being Generalissimo or near that rank, even though the battle allowed my rank, and everyone joined that battle knowing my rank was allowed in!

Being Generalissimo gives you no right to treat lower ranked players like dirt, and especially gives you no right to say "pick up crumbs". Rule 1.15 disallows "discriminating against inexperienced players (noobs): misinformation, harassment, mocking;", I recieved much of that in that one game alone.

So my point is, if your a high rank, enjoy it, but please don't be elitist or obnoxious about it, thank you!

Dude, if you're playing with Gens. at 2nd Lieutenant, your best shot is to be one hell of an Isida user, or play in DM's. And when you get M2 Railgun, you're eligible to DM with Gens. :D Steal kills 24/7

M1 Railgun is a no-no with Gens. in CTF.

Another good way is to get a good M2 equipment combo. Like Freeze and Mammoth and camp at the base. It confirms flag safety- I'm sure they won't kick you. They never kicked me. . . .Mammoth M2/ Freeze M2/ Electra. :)

It's 'cause you really can't kill anyone, nor can you get to the flag. And lower ranks tend to drug in higher-ranks, which ends up provoking a drug-spike and then evolves into a drug-war. Which not many people want. :P

My tip to you, when playing with Gens. use either Isida, or go DM's. Any other weapon unless you have it at M2 will do you no good. 100% kicked.

The post was more about the comments I received than the fact I got kicked, sorry if that wasn't very clear.

I'm sure their comments were biting, and I've gotten my share in my time. But why play with Gns in the first place?

Besides with m1 equipment vs. a bunch of druggies you will be absolutely no good, and that could even be considered multing (which is bannable) so be careful!

archangel is 100% correct, it does not matter how sincere you are in helping the team, some may understood you as a mult,

and DidYouKnowThat's  advice is worth consideration...

Well I do like to play with the higher ranks. Less noobs.

1. They actually know what's the main priority in CTF

2. They actually know deaths matter in TDM.

3. They know how to drug.

4. Battles are more fun. :D

Don't blame them because of they drugs or something . It your fault to join the high rank game , they not even etilist or obnoxious  . You joined a High Rank battle , and then the Generalissimo drugging and then you blamed them ? Dude , if you can't beat them just search other Low Rank battle . Stop blaming Generalissimo if they drugging and keep killing you easily . Saying them etilist or obnoxius just because they drugging and keep killing you ?

"Being Generalissimo gives you no right to treat lower ranked players like dirt" . What you mean by this ? Generalissimo is the highest rank in this game , they have m3s weapon and tank . By you saying like this mean you have no respect at all to Generalissimo ! If you don't like how they playing just go and search other Low Rank Battle .

I concur: also in close fought battles 1 low tank with lower guns can make the difference between a win and a loose, especially on small maps with small teams like Farm battles. If you are asked to leave there is a good reason for it most of the time

I meant their "pick up crumbs" comments, I would have been fine with "Lasershark, you don't know how much you are hindering us, please leave" and would have likely left.

Regardless of the reasons, bullying a player is unacceptable. Like Laser said, they could have asked him to leave in a much nicer way. Like LaserShark said, if you don't want people that are low ranked joining your game, simply don't allow the rank in the first place. And Hotwheel, just because someone is a generalissmo does not mean they deserve respect. Being a generalissmo just means someone has either played longer or used cash to get to where they are and is not a true reflection of skill or maturity.

Well, you were in the middle of a drugwar, somewhere you won't be effective in any way. Your Railgun which is probably M1 won't damage a Mammoth M3 with armor even with 1/15 of the HP it has. I can pretty much understand the Generalissimos since I am one, and the lower ranked players sometimes are pretty useless in drugwars. You should join a battle where there are no drugs, so it is more equal for you, and the Generalissimos won't complain that fast.

@HostileTakeOver: The rank gives a certain information. Not really skill, but experience. A generallissimo fought himself through 1 400 000 points, which were pretty hard to get. So, a generallisimo does have experience, but it does not mean it has skills neither maturity.

Not descimination, your just ruining their battle if you can't do drugs or kill anyone. They saw you as a mult for not being able to drug; only join battles in which you have a chance, not high ranks for fun they don't like low ranks who can't kill joining them

As I said before, if you don't want them in don't allow the rank in the first place. Common sense.

I don't think they expected a drugwar on purpose. I really don't mind fighting with such rank as he has, but as soon as there comes a drugwar, and the reputation of 2 clans is fought, it is annoying if there is such a rank who is barely able to kill someone, who might ruïn your clan, or personal, reputation.

Sure, and I do understand that but when someone creates a battle with such a wide range of ranks they should weigh in that fact in the decision to do so. The OP is more about the bullying than the fact that they wanted him to leave though.

@DarknessRising  Aren't most generalissmo battles drug wars?
