I really dont get the feeling tanki cares to much about players opinion.  Most things thier doing seems to be to get buyers to buy more crystals.(MUs-buyers will need crystals to get huge adv,(product kits-buyers will buy to get another big adv.

i got banned for 2 time ( long ban like for a week )... Once i used bad words reason he pushed me from capturing the flag (team mate) ..i cant bare it..thinking about reporting them which we need video ..i never say anything bad if enemy team does :)

Fun. In a recently made topic an interesting issue was raised. Generally it’s about the fact that the forum is not as lively as it used to be. The thing is that our community gets bigger, newcomers arrive every day. The more people we have, the more threads and comments are made. The more content we have, the more important the rules become. Following them is a vital thing and there are problems on both sides. Moderators make mistakes sometimes and close topics that could stay open without causing any harm. On the other hand, players basically kill genuinely interesting discussions by going off-topic and starting to create chaos. And here I’d like to say that unlike our little trolls, I don’t think that chaos is fun. And we can have fun without breaking any of the rules.

I don't see the point of this topic at all. You don't understand what "fun" is. Some topics we have which start a good discussion are locked as they've "gone too far".

Have you not tried looking at the rules from the point of the player? It just looks like only moderators and administrators are protected.

The main hint that should be done is:

 

Stop hiding rules. You have a rule section. You don't even put the rules there. That's how the rules get broken.

You are more than free to share your opinion of things, however you must do it in the right way. Obviously profanity and insults are not allowed. "Public" discussion of moderator's actions is also not allowed. That doesn't mean you can't discuss, you simply can't do it publicly. PM a moderator to discuss any concerns you may have.

To be honest, we'd like to see some actual change, though I appreciate what you have said here. It's easy to blame the lack of discussion on the forum on trolls, and fair enough, the mods have mistakenly locked topics, but there is clearly a larger issue with the system itself - the forum wasn't always like this. 'Voting on best assistants' would merely be a superficial (though interesting) addition, that is of course 'if we are mature enough'; to me, that statement sounds patronising and seems to suggest that we'll only be given privileges if we use them the way you want us to... We're not little kids, you know...

 

And, as always, I don't see how discussing of the moderation is immature if it is done with respect and politeness. Maybe it's time to consider how unpopular this rule is, and give the community a chance to publicly express their thoughts on those who manage them. If this happens, I for one will be completely satisfied, and I am sure many of us want to show you, the administration, that we would be prepared to act maturely if allowed to discuss your roles.

 

To me, the mod discussion rule is what is strangling this community at the moment. There needs to be more transparency.

 

As an alternative, I would like to resuggest having a group of players who unbiasedly observe the mods and their Skype chat, ie as official regulators who can deal with players' complaints fairly. I know you think this is not needed, Semyon, but hold a poll and see; most players would love to see an unbiased and self-critical regulation system, and in the end, it is the players' views that count.

 

How about you keep the mod discussion rule, and set up a regulatory board of players, partly elected by the players themselves and partly decided by you?

I would like to point out something regarding trolls. A little over a year ago I loved the forums, I was an active poster and reader of pretty much each topic. There were many trolls back then, but they barely spoiled the fun, some even added to the fun! Now there are still a lot of trolls and now they would be to blame for the "bad" state of the forums? I highly doubt they are the main reason.

I think what happened to Tanki Online Forum is it became a too popular to have moderators going easy on Forum Users. There is a unknown ratio, for a certain amount of people there are a certain amount of trollers in this number of people, and that number got to be too high, so the Moderators started noticing a lot more insulting/trolling. Plus, most moderating is a hard job, it usually makes the moderator mean/less caring if there is more banning he/she has to do to keep this forum clean. 

 

However, none of us old members wan't it sparkling clean of trolling, but I don't think any of us want any insulting of players.

Talking about complaint section rules(violators) and off topic rules. These are rules are they not. If they are they should be in rules section. If they are not they are not seen and people continue to break the rules since they can't see what they did wrong unless they pm a mod which almost no one does.

Could not agree more update 123 ruined the game since tanki decided " hey lets try and force people to buy crystals and raise prices as much as we can!

The other stupid updates well...if i said about that we be here all day

i been playing this game over 3 years ; you ONLY get the motivation of cheating BY playing with cheaters , 2 or 1 years ago , you cant even move forward due to the cheaters and lack of admins , and i don't say i never cheated , true i did , because i thought i couldn't play this game only if i cheated , because there was a lot of cheats there before , teleporting , invisibility , no range isida , etc. i couldn't handle it without cheating.

after i learned from my lesson , i never cheated again,even though it was so easy to do.

love the game until recently 

im getting very bad  constant  lag resulting in my tank jumping frames this happens mostly when near a wall or under tunalls 

i can not judge the movement of my tank accurately and im finding this problem increasingly frustrating

 i live in uk my system is win7 3gb ram duel core  possessor i should not be having this problem 

why is there even more bad lag than before it is getting to the point of not worth logging on to play 

almost as bad as CO 2.0 or is it assasin now they got so  many hackers and bots running it

lags the system and forces DC is this what is happening with me hear 

i would like some sort of reply on why this is happening as it is affecting the game play to much 

and it really is frustrating lets put it this way im frustrated enough to be bothered to type this.

some kind of answer is appreciate

i really don't want this to be passed under the carpet and ignored it is a  problem at times for me
