There are Anti virus programs that tells you if the site is clear or not, for an example i use "Norton" and when i go to Tanki it shows a "correct mark" which means it' s a safe site. :) try that with your teacher

Schools have url blocks systems, they check a website's tags and depending on the tags it gets blocked or not.

 

Tankionline has "games" in there tags, and probaly also "online" maybe the online is seen as a social networking site and thats why its blocked.

and that program spotflux needs administrative access which i dont have at school so it wont work..

i don't think we can help you more here, it's up to you to convince the school the site is not a spy-ware.

 If the rules permit,  I would like to say this to all tanki players who lag the opposing team players down. Slowing them way down, making screen freeze, taking them out of battle and even offline,  "Stop all your foul playing.  If you cannot play by the rules I will take screenshots of the foul playing, send in a report and call a mod to the battle."

 

 During a 24 hour period, with 27 servers and then with the numerous amounts of players on each server, i wonder how many battles are tainted by foul play .   There should be a poll taken!  I would say, in a 24 period, each server has 50 or more.

Fact: Many websites track their viewers or players to get a better idea how much they play where they live and other things. It is a way to know who your viewers are and know how much they like your game xD Even in the code of the Tanki Online page, it goes to Google Analytics. Everyone tracks their viewers not just tanki... Tho its probably not to ruin your computer however playing lots of Flash games will fill your cache.

What I think is your teacher is just lying to you, so there can be some reason for blocking the site. Probably they block such sites so students will study, not play games and teacher just doesn't want to say 'NO', instead tells the story about the spyware.

 

Anyway, problem is not on Tanki's end, so I'll close this. It's up to you to make the teacher get the site unblocked.
