Feedback on staff

Recommended Posts

This topic is made for players to provide feedback on staff (moderators, consultants, reporters, cybersport commentators).

The purpose of it is to get all the ideas and suggestions on how staff can improve their work in one place. Any discussion of moderation in other threads and sections will result in bans as usual.

Any discussion of bans in this topic is forbidden (for that, use forum PM) so as referring to specific members of staff. Messages that are polite and constructive are welcome.

This is in a demo mode right now, we'd like to see how it goes, whether the community is ready for that and whether it can actually help to improve the quality of staff's work.

We just need the recently added product kits removed, the buyers totally ruling our battle..

Or atleast keep some better discounts like 50% so that even we, the non buyers can buy.

And The micro upgrades will ruin it more.

Thats all i dont like in the game, else the things are truly epic, the game is really great.

Thank you.

Banning forever can be prevented, speacially in violators section?

This is truly a nightmare for tanki lover.

We sometimes mistakenly post in violators section.

What about getting forum and chat moderators for every popular language using in tanki? It's big problem for players when they are insulted on for example armenian and they can't report it.

Well, on the forum we already cover italian, spanish, french, arabic, portoguese. On the chat there are some additions like polish, serbian and greek (Don't forget that interactions between the team makes all those are covered in both chat and forum). In my own opinion, it would be better to have at least a few moderators always online to provide service 24/7 (thanks to timezones of countries where moderators live), rather than covering more languages. However, if more foreign people want to apply to help improving the languages network, they are welcome.

Yes but lot of players has not thought about it what about. When you needed consultants you made topic for it.. Why to not create for example: seeking polish moderators!

P.s i tried to apply and everything was going good... but they saw my old karm... :D

And about popular languages don't forget about statistic:

Semyon; thanks for doing what you said you might through our PM conversation, and performing what is clearly a contructive and progressive action by creating this topic. I will post a detailed analysis myself here tomorrow, and I hope it will be courteous and helpful.

On the other hand, guys: use this thread properly. This is our chance to show Semyon how mature we really are, and to show him that letting us discuss the staff was not a bad decision to make.

I implore to anyone reading this who has an inclination to post here in an insulting way, though I sympathise with and share your complaints; let us show Semyon that even the so-called 'trolls' can and will post constructively here, now that we have been given the chance to be heard.

I applaud the community and the staff for working together to get to this stage - let's continue working together to make this forum a better place for all.

Hi, thanks for creating this topic.

One thing that really gets me irritated is that overused word, "Pointless", just before a topic is closed. There are few things worse for customer relations than to terminate someones question, suggestion, idea etc, with it.  One, the op can't reply and Two, it can make them feel inadequate in the sense they're been ridiculed in public. Wouldn't it be be better to say something like...

"Thanks for your post. [insert reason for closing topic]. PM me and I'll be happy to reopen this topic if you think your question/suggestion/idea etc, has been misunderstood or has not been adequately explored or answered."

It doesn't have to be that elaborate but anything is better than "pointless".

Also, could you crack down on forum members who use it too? Any newcomer to tanki or to forums in general may be put off returning and contributing further when confronted with the P word. I'm not saying ban them, just let them know their contribution is not welcome.  Encouragement is needed, wouldn't you say?

Best,

Staff can improve their work if:-

Staff do not close topics for at least 3 days when a recent post or the last post has asked for;

further information / a reply / response, (that adds to the discussion and topic), from the OP or a previous poster.

The closed / locked topic problem has improved recently, but further improvement would be welcome.

In addition, posts, normally of very few words, that do not add any useful input to a topic should have the, “Contain no useful information;” rule and sanctions applied by the staff. These rubbish posts generate huge amounts of “follow this topic” rubbish emails.

The staff is appreciated and I do hope this topic remains open. :)

The Administrator's aren't very active.Semyon,Is the only one I see online.I think we should have some subs if a administrator is absent.

Also,Instead of locking a topic they should delete it unless its supposed to be locked and its written by staff.Because if you don't delete it it will never go away meaning it will just cause flood.Thats my honest opinion and what should change.

Also, the Consultants should be a bit more friendly. :P

you forgot Hindi! there is a large community of hindi players as well. i daily see many hindi speaking people in the game, and also they say bad words in hindi a lot! any mod or the game cannot detect this language and thus they are free to say anything to anyone.
