Tankionline now a social network?

Hello I have come here to say tha i am felling a bit uneasy Tanki online has very slowly  becoming more and more of a socail network 

because I seen many conversations on the chat that show that ppl talk like if tanki is a socail network. I hope that to some how stop this from happening 

or else there may be too much flooding in the chat.

IMHO chat is there to be chatted in, and if you can't chat in the chat what good is chat?

Well one thing you have to remember is that there are kids under the age of sixteen in the chat. In fact, I'd figure there's a very large number of them in the chat so the chat may just naturally look like that. And like LaserShark said, the chat is for chatting, and I personally don't think people should be kept from chatting as if it were a social network. Of course the "wanna be boyfriend/girlfriend" stuff seems a bit weird to me but I think that's actually quite common in websites that are more for the ages of 6-12.

Also there are Twitter and Facebook contests. Yes , im addicted to Tanki but i have a personal life to , i dont need Tanki everywhere in my life.

Making friends and socializing is one of the most important parts of a multiplayer game. Tanki Online, having achieved the goal of making this game so social, should be proud of being called a social network :)

It`s best to use caution when it chat &  befriending people ;) quite a lot of fruit loops out there.

Tanki is a game. Not a social network, there is a server chat and a battle chat. That doesnt make it a Social Network. It has a Facebook and Twitter page, but so does most youtube channels. That doesn't make them Social networks.

if you have concerns for your safety .. with all respect you really should not be here.. also there is a very effective staff and moderation system here if you have any real concerns about any person in chat you can report anyone take a screen shot or video grab and post it to a moderator, the perpetraitors will be made to sit on the naughty step
