Upgrading hulls and weapons costs too high

To the Game Moderator of Tanki Online,

 

                                                                  Your game is something that is incomparable to others. If they would compare to you, they're in the lower place from you. But there is something that is discouraging to play this. And that deterring content of the game is the upgrading of hulls and weapons. I hope that you won't think of me as lazy, but I can't earn 78, 000 for 4 ranks. If you would say that I shouldn't upgrade my hull and gun, everyone has upgraded them because they have crystals and it would be too unfair for us to play with such high damage. Sincerely, Brysin.

Well you are a low rank... It takes time for you to get the best, just buy a simple paint, a cheap upgrade for you tank/hull and then save up for better upgrades,

if the game changed like you want it then players will get to the top too quickly and then they would leave.

But this way they stay and player and by time they will never leave.

Your low rank now and battles in low ranks have low funds so it gets hard to earn crys but when you will get higher rank the fund will increase as well as price of upgrades. For example 1 hour battle for sergeants usually battle fund 500-600 but 1 hour battle third lieutenant to major its 2500-3000 (if you dont drug in both cases)

Well, Tanki Online is a game that is made for both buyers and non-buyers, the game is designed the way that if you don't buy you can easily earn enough crystals to get at least one combo fully upgraded by the time you get to generalissimo + some paints.

i have been playing for just over 14 months now I have 5 m3 guns and hulls and do not buy its very easy to rank and get a good tank you just have to be persistent and save up for upgrades and not waste them buying everything concentrate on your favorite  one gun and one hull make that strong then when its m3 start on another one gun and one hull

In this game BUYERS will all ways rule because, this game runs by buyers ,95 % players are boiler chicken , believe me its true.

 

but there is some hidden tricks to overcome this problem

 

some of turrets rules for some specified ranks only

 

ricochet M0 rule up to SERGEANT after that its for parkour only

railgun best up to M1 only after that you have to be all time drugger

shaft is good up to M1 . there after its just a monument any one can pissed of you from back & u cant even move your turret to watch who is that dog is pissed off on you

Firebird most irritating elements for opponent , its good up to M3 but but you have skill , not misuse fuel .

Freezer as its MOST OVER POWERED weapon in tanki . you should buy them & upgrade them . because this turret most cheap , most lower level upgrade , most irritating element

Thunder is a good weapon , you can upgrade it up to M3

Smoky is good if you believe in god , if god wish & give you a critical shot then you are will be the best every time . for skilled player its good

Twins  is for disturbing your opponents . Its OVER POWERED & create to disturbing all the players . its may be in your team or in opponent 

Isida  again it is a intentionally OVER POWERED weapon , its dose not   matter in which rank you are if fit for play just enter that battle me , you will gain gain rank in double speed

 

choose fitted turret for your rank . all ways upgrade freezer & isida , if you have to gain rank fast use isida , if you want crystal fast forget about team winning or loosing & just go SILENCE in blue team , KUNGUR in red team & collect crystal with upgraded hornet . if you feel boring use Firebird & disturbing people its really fun  . :lol:

I don't know who you are and what you are talking about me. But Freezer, Isida and Firebirds are compatible with you (When I play Tanki first, I get irritated with Freezer. So, buy Freezer)

Upgrading hulls is not so expensive and I upgraded my mammoth hull about 3 mouths ago but upgrading weapons such Thunder is pretty pricy. :o

I believe the game is pretty well balanced right now. Of course some problems with the gun´s powers.. but when low rank such as you, it´s fair u don´t get to have a Killer weapon right away.

 

I can´t even remember my beginning, but somehow I purchased almost every gun right away with what crystals the game gave me instantly. Now I only lack Dictator, but since I use M1 Hornet + M1 Freezer/M1 Shaft I don´t think nothing of it. And already got thousands of crystals stacked for improvements of maybe the previously mentioned combos. Play well partner B)

Save your crystals and don't spend them on unnecessary things like non protective paints, guns and tanks you aren't using at the moment. Focus on collecting crystals and when the sales come, that's when you figure out what the best bang for your buck is and get it, if you like it of coarse. If by the sales you don't have enough crystals for what you want, don't spend them on other weapons, hulls and paints that you don't like but figure, oh hey, ima just buy this because I can, no no no, bad idea. This just makes you poor and you have to collect crystals all over again and hope you have enough for the next sale.

you are wrong m2 cant kill viking / hornet in 1 shot

 

m2 hornet + any 10% railgun protection paint make it stronger

you cant kill even m1 viking with out any paint with rail gun in 1 shot

 

 

about shaft @ i am a shaft player but believe me if i turget you in appropiate map i can kill you with my m1 isida / m2 freezer 50 timimes more than you :D

Awesome screenies bro. I have to ask you though, can you tell a big difference between Railgun M1 and Railgun M2? Also, which do you prefer to use with railgun? Dictator or Hornet? I own Tundra rather than Digital (I didnt see the huge price jump worth the small bit of protection added) and I normally use my railgun with wasp M1 (hoping to M2 it as soon as I possibly can) I prefer the positioning on wasp alot better than hornet, so I can peek-a-boo much safer. Dictator M2 is a very tempting option, especially with its turning ability after the physics come. Do you think its worth 90k crystals (25% sale) for someone who doesnt have that many funds to work with (120k crys) and I dont even own M2 railgun yet...? (I bought almost all m1's except Dict/thun/horn and m2 freeze/isida)

Or shall I stick with M2 wasp?

 

I usually am a bit frustrated with Dictator+Railgun on the test servers, because its difficult to hit people who are on lower levels than you are (and railgun is nice to snipe from up high with - wasp can easily rock back and forth to hit people on any height you wish)

 

Also, if anyone here can answer this, as I was unable to test much myself with the new physics - Wasp seems to be more stable when firing railgun shots right? The hull doesnt tilt over as much when you shoot sideways?

To my opinion I would prefer railgun with dictator.. why ? because it is more powerful and a fully drugged m2 railgun can not even destroy with one shot

and many times m3 railgun with drugs can not even destroy in one shot.. and assuming that you are not using any drugs

That happened several time. In Kungur a fully drugged railgun m3 run towards me and shot, thought that I would be destroyed and he could get the flag and run away

But I was still there with no drugs. he couldn't destroy me and an isida came back and healed me and he lost his chance.. and he wasted his drugs. and I didn't use even any

So dictator m2 rocks with this paint and it is stable

 

Hornet m2 is still a good option.. It is fast.. And good for flag stealing. But not good when you shoot while you standing a side.. You might get upside down if you get another hit from another railgun or thunder

But that doesn't happen to dictator.. So it is your choice.. I wouldn't buy hornet m2 but there was 50 % discount so it wasn't that expensive then

 

Dictator m2 with the digital paint --> opponent  with no drug --- needs 3 shots with railgun m2

                                                                                                            2 shots with railgun m3 sometime, but many times also 3 shoots with m3

 

                                                          --> opponent with drug --- needs 2 shots with railgun m2

                                                                                                       sometime 1 shot sometime 2 shots with railgun m2

 

hornet m2 with the digital paint --> opponent with no drug ---- needs 2 shot with railgun m2

                                                                                                        2 shots with railgun m3

 

                                                           --> opponent with drug ---- needs 1 shot with railgun m2 and m3

I see. I guess it depends a bit on the maps you play, and your style of gameplay. I usually prefer speed and evasion and the ability to dodge hits, rather than tanking them. I realize you can't always evade, there are some situations that throw themselves at you and theres nothing you can do but take a hit... but in a light hull, more times than not, usually you can get to safety if you place yourself strategically in the map, and have backup plans ready in your head when different tactics are used against you.

 

One problem I have with dictator is that its speed doesnt allow you to get away from close range wielded enemies. Usually you will have died before you get a second shot with your railgun once they have made it to you, unless you're using titan or mammoth. Dictators HP isnt thaaat impressive... another thing is that If I wait 1 extra rank and save a bunch more crystals... I could buy wasp M3+freeze M3 kit, whereas the Dictator's M3 is unlocked much later.

 

I do alot of thinking out loud as you can see. Anyways, thanks for your opinions, they have been noted. :)

Do you have dictator m1 ? dictator m2 is faster than m1.. and m3 is faster than m2

besides if you hide behind the wall and shoot, your speed doesn't matter much

But it is your game and I would tell you to wait even and spare until you can get a product kit.

Then you can buy railgun m3 and dictator m3 together as a kit and it will be much cheaper

why ? because you are not gonna waste your crystals with upgrades.. upgrading m1 to m2 costs as well

so wait and save for the product kit.. i am saving right now and i hope i will have enough crystals until i rank up to 3 stars

There is a long road to take and I will wait and spare until I have 3 stars then buy the product kit
