The guide to Mammoth

Heavy, Slow, and boring, these must be the words that enter your mind when you hear the word ‘Mammoth’. However, this tank might be better than you think.

Although slow, Mammoth can prove itself to be extremely useful in the battlefield. Preferably, you should use it with weapons like Smokey, Shaft, Thunder or Twins. But surprisingly it works out well, with the short range guns like Firebird and Freeze.

Modifications:-

M0:- The slowest tank in the game, slow, even for those who are used to Mammoth, however it is not that bad as the next modification is available quite early.

M1:- Available at staff sergeant, extremely cheap and much better then then its previous form. However, due to its low price, Mammoth is pretty slow, even at M1. I did use it to get to Warrant 4 but I used it along with smoky and wasp. It took me to Warrant 4 after which I got Hornet

M2:- Available at Major, VERY good, not slow compared to its previous modification, worth the price. I myself always see Mammoths dominating, whether CTF, TDM, CP or DM. I now, after a lot of hardwork, finally have enough crystals to get it at a 50%. However a sale on mammoth just isn’t coming. M2 Mammoth will easily get you to geneallismo where its final modification is available because of its High health and adequate speed. Still, another hull along with Mammoth is preferred.

M3: Although available at generalissimo, it is completely worth it, I have been in countless battles with generalissimo’s and Mammoth completely dominates, any game mode, see a Mammoth, you’re doomed.

Cost:- M0:  400 – Available at Gefreiter

           M1: 3200 – Available at Staff Sergeant

           M2: 76700 – Available at Major

           M3: 244200 – Available at Generalissimo

Which map and mode to use it in:

Polygon DM:  Kind of obvious, Mammoth will dominate in DM’s for 1 simple reason, in Death matches you do not have to move much, just kill. Mammoth is perfect for this purpose. Amazing health at M2 and M3 makes it extremely hard to kill

Iran CTF: As Iran is a map played commonly by all ranks it is an ideal map for Mammoth. The preferable weapon for this map along with Mammoth is Thunder, Smoky or Freeze. Thunders, because of its splash damage, smoky because of its quick reload and Freeze will create an ideal combo for defending.

Kungur DM/CTF: You will not find a Kungur D.M very often however as your rank increases, you will see that the number of battles in Kungur will increase. Mammoth should be used with Freeze for defence, Shaft for mid and Thunder, Smokey or Twins for attacking. However it will be pretty hard to capture a flag unless N0S is used. So the preferred position is mid or defence unless you’re a drugger :P.

Sandbox CTF: Not a lot of question about this, small map, use thunder, twins.

Island CTF: Ideal for Mammoth. Use freeze, firebird.

What weapons to use with Mamomth:

Smokey:  7/10. Not the best choice unless you’re skilled. Smokey is pretty weak until M2.

Thunder: 9.5/10. Epic with mammoth, any mode, thunder is the best, only disadvantage, self-damage.

Isida: 1/10. No, just no. The weapon with the least range and will never be good with Mammoth.

Firebird: 6/10. Good for maps like Island, sandbox etc.

Freeze 8/10. Together, Freeze and Mammoth make the ultimate defending combo.

Shaft: 9/10. Mammoth and shaft, sniping, disadvantage, tiring, frustrating and no attacking.

Twins: 9.5/10: Almost the best along with Thunder, 1 bad side, range. It is overpowered in most modes, maps though.

Railgun: 2/10. Just like Isida, it just does not go with Mammoth. Railgun is for light armours as you need to keep moving because of its long reload.

Richochet: 2/10: Hmm… Rico is pretty nerfed, not preferable even though some people would prefer this.

Oh well, that’s about it, P.M me if you want more info, spent a lot of time on this. Its my 1st guide ;).

The guide is pretty good for a first one, though I have some things to say about your guide;

-Mammoth is not suitable for all game modes, No supplies CTF's are rarely visited by Mammoths.

And there are better choices for big maps.

-Thunder is good on Mammoth, though it's not really a defense weapon nor an attack weapon.

Therefor it should do better with Viking, or Dictator.

-There's a different game style you can do with Railgun; which is called camping.

A Mammoth with Railgun can sit in a corner and take out enemies at long range.

It's also a pretty good defense combination.

-Isida and Mammoth can be the perfect combination in Silence, especially in drug wars.

It can also be a very important contribution for base defenders.

Haider, you should've waited for the Physics update, then used your efforts to make a guide on Mammoth. It won't be the same. It shall suck. ..
