BBCodes, Dimensions, Width, Height, Frameborder - Help

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I am trying to insert an iFrame in one of my posts in this forum, which would allow all viewers to view a Google doc within the post,, like this one

This is the tournament table for the Lucky 7 Tournament

However the problem I am having is I cannot adjust the dimensions of the iFrame at all.

[iframe=Link]width,height,border[/iframe]

.

The above code doesn't work.  If I try using this it will simply not display anything at all, except for the raw line as written.

So I'm wondering if there is some other way to adjust these dimensions that I do not know of.

Also when you select Media from the offered BBcodes here on tankiforum editor you get an option to input your dimensions of the media frame,, but weirdly you do not get this option for the iFrame

It would be good to have some clarifications from a mod or admin who deals with these forum things,, but I don't know who does that,

If anyone has any idea who is in charge of technical development of forum, please link him here, or pm me his credentials so I can mail him and forward the query.. thanks

The forum administrator disabled dimensions for everything expect flash objects, and some other stuff but with limitations of size.

Because people could use the dimensions to spam.

iFrame BBcode was originally intended to be available to administrators only. We are disabling this BBcode for common users due to security reasons. Thank you for noticing it.

Thanks Alexey for answering this.  Its better to have it disabled than working with limited options.  and of course , the security issue ...

Question Answered .. Mod please close down this topic .. bye all :)
