Ok, Shaft, at full power, is realy slow. If you're a shaft user, try not to have full power, and nothing to shot, you can get kill this way easy by a Freezer.

 

Also only try to go for Wasp and Hornet, if you see a Mammouth, try to let it get hit first, and then if you shaft is 80-100%, power, then go for the kill, the best combo for Shaft is Mammouth, why you might ask? Well it has the highest HP, and you can get full, power, without getting kill, for example you can get shot 15 times, by a smokey, by then you probably killed him, with your Shaft.

 

The Shaft is best in Pologne, on both sides, also Monte carlo, on both sides, also good in silence, Blue side better, for Shaft.

 

Shaft is, almost like a tank killer, try not to get flanked, get in a pass, like tank destroyers did in the old days, and you can come Pretty high in the battle score

 

Rail guns, will always try to kill Shafts, and Shafts will always try to kill rails, so if you want to do good with shaft get Mammouth.

If shaft didn't get worse with micro upgrades i would still use it, but I don't anymore. The shaft is very good on mammoth, since you dont have to run unless you want to reach the right spot, so I'd recommend it on m3 mammoth, which has a good speed for what I mentioned above.  About shaft, you must be very skilled on HPs of each tank and turret (to steal kills easily). And yes, freeze is the most dangerous gun for the shaft, as firebird and isida on a fast tank. You can avoid them with mines or just trying to let them arrive in a single direction, the one you are aiming in.

Was'nt a shaft user before rebalance but was one after! Was the only gun available at my rank at M1.But loved every moment with it. Then switched to rail m2.Now  it is lying in my garage gathering dust. Hope they change that soon  :)
