REBALANCE ?

I am a Shaft Player and one reason why I chose Shaft was not only because of its sniper mode but also because that it could shoot like thunder without sniping

Now knowing that it will take 8 sec to reload and yet can not destroy a tank in one shoot, makes its value miserable. Imagine most of Shafts are destroying a tank with two shots.

First shot is fully charged and second is just regular shot. But now there won't be any time to shoot second time before getting destroyed.. If this happens to shaft then I would like to give my shaft away and choose another weapon instead

When I chose the weapons that I have bought and upgraded, I considered their current specifications. And if you change the specifications then you should refund us

Then bring REBALANCE and I will get rid of my shaft m3 gladly and buy another weapon instead of it

All part of there master plan to need all guns and hulls but rail. Stupid because more will quit

shaft gonna be like rail and I just got rail m1 -.-

plus I have m1 twins no fair twins gonna suck now

make changes to thunder u dont even do anything to it

thunder is useless on big maps plz change that :)

the shaft will be stronger or weaker ??  <_<

i read all the posts and some people say i hate the upgrade with the shaft 

 

the upgrade good for the shaft or what :mellow: ????? 

Shaft will charge to its full potential in 3 seconds (at m3 I believe) but the reload will take much longer (approximately 8 seconds)

This shaft change will be kinda radical, as it changes the nature of the weapon. As it atm is a stationary weapon: you get to position and charge the weapon and get someone to your crosshair. You do this because it takes long time to charge, but you can start charging next quite fast, so no need to change place between the shots.

 

The now introduced shaft makes it kind of a opposite. You get to your position, charge it fast and fire away, then hide as it takes ages to reload, and do it again. Sounds like rail to me, only the difference is that you can't charge while moving, but you do have a zoom so less missed shots for distance.

 

Personally I would have changed it to the opposite direction, make it more different than railgun. Keep the reload time, maybe even increase the charge time, same time increasing the overall damage. You could even make the charging nonlinear, so you could do like 50% of maximum damage fast, and the charging slows down, finally reaching a massive damage.

 

But this change just sucks, as you will have two almost identical weapons, one with zoom, and another with ability to charge while moving.

Are you stupid? You are basically saying "Please kill the game." Do you realize how many people are gonna quit if what you asked for happens. (talking about the Nerf's) 

No i am not stupid!. What i am saying is that they are addressing issues with 3 turrets, when in fact all turrets have an issue that need looking at!. Here's an example: how many times have you watched Thunders shoot against a building to kill themselves just because they are low on HP. Can all turrets do that? NO. It appears that the designers favor shaft and railgun and they are afraid of Freeze and Twins. Hence that is why they picked on them. OK!

The other changes to weapons I can agree. The freeze atm slows you down maybe too much. You can get to the flag with even 3 guys all drugged, and still only 1 low rank freeze can spoil the attack, as it slows everyone down. And this change keeps the dmg the same as it is now, so it won't make the weapon any weaker as it is now.

 

The change for twins will be ok as well. Its only 7% less of dmg so should be too big of a deal in the end I guess, but we will see.

You kidding? Thunders best ability is to affect blast dmg, and you wanna take it away? Why? Then its the same as smoky but instead of critical hit? Buy smoky if you don't like it. The idea of thunder is to affect damage to everyone around the hit, even yourself.

 

If you could shoot with thunder with out killing yourself it would be imba. Just run to mass of enemies and keep shooting: No dmg to yourself, everyone else = dead, as they all will take dmg while you are shooting just one. Doesn't work for me.

 

Just stop shooting the walls, eh?

and again it goes..tell me,what's the point of using freeze?..you nerfed it recently..and you are doing it again?..are the freeze users concidered to be the most stupid people in the game????..we all payed quite "nice" amount of crystals for it,I did it myself recently,by purchsing M3 modification..and tell me,do you think that I bought it because I like useless weapon?..freeze is limited with range and reload time,recently,you made it handicaped it even more by reducing the frozen time..and now again???..you are making shaft stronger,lot stronger then it used to be,although many people,especially those with low ranks use it???..how will the gameplay look like?..static like hell..like some board game,chess,for example???..this requires a REFUND..I dont even want to speak about twins,that noob weapon needed nerfing from begining,and when I see all those people who are whining about "the big twins nerfing",it makes me sick..like the huge skill is needed to use it..lol..put a brick on spacebar and drive..that's skill?..yeah,indeed..but!!!..all of us (freeze,shaft,twins,etc users) bought weapons based on given CARACTERISTICS in garage,and based on what we saw on the battlefield..this is a classic act of ripping off users..or,maybe you concider all of us idiots..idk really anymore..the game is ruinning by every single update you are making..I thought that the 1000 pack of druggs will got it rapidlly,cause many of kids (and I really mean that) bought tanks (hull+turret+colour) way above their ranks,together with drugg supplies (1000 packs),then joined the battles,making normal people insane by non stop using supplies,making "normal users" unable to make decent score (I saw dude with 2,3,4 "tactics" who played like that for 3 hours straight) because off the advantage they have..idk tanki devs..if you are nerfing it..then remove it forever..dont kill the freeze like that,it's not fair,you killed that weapon a while ago..not again..or..let me give you an idea,if you want to kill it properlly..reduce it's range on 0.5 meter,hell,you can even remove freeze effect,and reduce the charge by 75%..do it propperly..not sneaky like this (again)..my goal wasnt to insult anyone,all of you who read this,please,try to understand that..but the things they are doing..idk how to call that even anymore..

A few things I want to explain:

 

1) Twins projectile speed will be slower, but still faster then projectile speed of current ricochet. This will change twins effectiveness vs light hulls but that is pretty much it.

2) Ricochet projectile speed will be as fast as projectile speed of current twins. Better vs light hulls, still as bad vs heavy hulls.

3) Twins rate of fire will be 180.2 regardless of modification.

4) Freeze will freeze (lol) as fast or even faster then its doin currently (subject to change). What will be changed is unfreezing time. 8 seconds is too much, will be change to 4. Meens that tank will be unfreezed 4 seconds after you stop your attack.

5) Railgun won't be nerfed by Shaft. Rail can perform much better in CQC then shaft. Keep in mind that Shaft aiming slows down almost as it does right now, but over 3 seconds and every light hull (wich is primary target for shaft) will be much faster.

 

And yeah, no refunds.

Freeze useless?! Oh come on! Freeze will be just as strong as it was, it will do as much damage as before and it will freeze other tanks just as hard. The only thing that changes is how long it takes for the freeze effect to wear off. And in my opinion that change was really needed, the freeze effect just took too long. Before the rebalance the effect might have been a bit too short, but then no one complained about it and then no one hated freeze so much. Now freeze just ruins the game play, and you come here to complain about nerfing 

the freeze effect?! They could cut the time in half and the freeze effect would still take longer than before the rebalance.

Yup. It will make Twins good vs heavy tanks and will make Ricochet good vs light tanks.

Also, Twins can do just as good head to head while ricochet can land more shots on target from afar due to easier aiming.
