shaft damage

Not to contradict, but I'm pretty sure Shaft doesn't lose damage over distance.

I second this :) The whole point of shaft is that it doesn't lose power over distance. Sniping turrets like rail + shaft are both like this

no one has answered my question here you just made it into a conversation lol

Sorry about that. Ok, onto your question. There are two damage stats shown in the garage. The one that deals more damage is the damage done while you are in snipe/scope mode. The other statistics shown is the damage done in arcade mode (not in scope mode). When in scope mode, you can charge your turret to its' full potential by charging until the yellow bar is full so the damage varies, depending on when you let go of your space bar and how much you let the turret charge before you let go. sometimes it does kill m1 viking coz i got viking m1

  • He had a higher M level of Shaft weapon
  • You were previously hit
  • He hit in arcade mode and then in scope mode

These are possibilities, you see, 150 Damage can not "suddenly" destroy a 165 Armor in one shot, it's not possible.

what do you mean by arcade mode and then scope mode confuesed lol

Arcade mode is when a shaft shoots without scope mode. Scope mode is when you hold space bar and then you go into sniping mode with the crosshairs on your screen Edited by icerugby

Yeah i did my research and i experimented with my friend in a private battle the distance does not affect power, it has UNLIMITED RANGE!!!!!

I think if you hit the middle of the tank it gives more damage, than hitting the corner?

This happens to Railgun, as that damage isn't fixed.

an M3 can do 112 - 166 as shown in the garage statistics.

This means it can do damage between those numbers.

But this doesn't have to do anything with corners.

Shaft however has a fixed damage that increases as you charge for longer

The time of recharging takes the difference there, instead of randomness.

If you fire Shaft, and shoot at a corner of the enemy; it will not make a full charge weaker.... or stronger.
