Every time you say topic merged but with what & what was the topic? :(

Notice how I always quote an empty post when I write that? I do that for two reasons:

1. It sends a notification to the poster of the topic I merged, so when they go on the forum again, they see a notification saying "MAFlOS0 quoted a post you made", they click the link and they find the new location of their topic and my post, saying that I merged it.
2. It notifies viewers of the larger topic that another topic got merged into it. In case you didn't notice, I always quote the original post that I merged, so if you click on the curved grey arrow on the right side of the quote box, you will be sent right back to the original post that got merged.

I remove the content from the quote and leave it empty so that it doesn't flood the page. Quoting a massive post with a lot of pictures and text is actually against the forum rules (overquoting) and you can get a warning if you do it too much.

Ikr meine ek baar problem aayi to meinr helpline par email kiya. Pehli line mein saaf saaf likha I ALREADY TRIED CCLEANER SEVERAL TIMES.

 

Aur ek hafte bad reply aata hai- please clean your browser cache using ccleaner..

(meine kam chala ke problem thik karli thi)

Possible answer:

2.Merged from some other topic.(Because it was in  hindi langauge. )

I never really move individual posts from one topic to another. And I'm pretty sure moving a single post, let's say, from the 100th page to the 200th page in the same topic is pretty much impossible since posts are automatically sorted in chronological order. Whenever I merge topics it simply means that the person posted a new topic, and the content of that new topic is very similar to an already existing one, so I merge the topics to make sure the discussion is kept in the same place.

 

In the case of this one, the new topic was aimed at Indian players, so there is no point having it separate when it can be moved here to be viewed specifically by viewers, who the topic was aimed at (Indians and other Hindi language speakers).
